http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsibility_to_protect

138. Each individual State has the responsibility to protect its populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. This responsibility entails the prevention of such crimes, including their incitement, through appropriate and necessary means. We accept that responsibility and will act in accordance with it. The international community should, as appropriate, encourage and help States to exercise this responsibility and support the United Nations in establishing an early warning capability.

139. The international community, through the United Nations, also has the responsibility to use appropriate diplomatic, humanitarian and other peaceful means, in accordance with Chapters VI and VIII of the Charter, to help protect populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. In this context, we are prepared to take collective action, in a timely and decisive manner, through the Security Council, in accordance with the Charter, including Chapter VII, on a case-by-case basis and in cooperation with relevant regional organizations as appropriate, should peaceful means be inadequate and national authorities manifestly fail to protect their populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity. We stress the need for the General Assembly to continue consideration of the responsibility to protect populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity and its implications, bearing in mind the principles of the Charter and international law. We also intend to commit ourselves, as necessary and appropriate, to helping States build capacity to protect their populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity and to assisting those whis before crises and conflicts break out.

Burma: The ignored genocide

The world stood watching while Russian, Serbian, Chinese and Filipino forces and militias exercised their “Final Solution” to the “Muslim Problem.” In Europe, they finally woke up as a result of coverage by the global media and public opinion pressure. Thanks to strong US leadership, the holocaust was finally put to an end, and Muslims were allowed to have their own states and live in peace.

Stop the Genocide in Darfur

???????????????????

The ongoing genocide in Darfur, Sudan has already claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of Darfur is and has displaced more than 2 million more. The genocide began in early 2003 when members of two rebel groups—the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) and the Sudan Liberation Army (SLA)—revolted against the Sudanese government in Khartoum alleging systematic neglect of the inhabitants of Darfur. The government responded by launching an assault against these two rebel groups. The response has been two-pronged, combining aerial bombing raids with a sustained ground assault. The ground offensive is carried out by Arab militias recruited from local tribes and armed by the government– collectively known as the janjaweed.

Is Sudan committing another genocide – against the Nuba people?

Almost two decades ago, as a British government official, I had the misfortune to witness the last genocide of the 20th century – in Rwanda in 1994. I also have the dubious distinction of experiencing the first genocide of the 21st century. That was in Darfur in 2004 and it unfolded while I served as the chief of the United Nations in Sudan. Earlier this month, I went back across the border into Sudan’s Nuba mountains to see for myself what history may come to judge as the second genocide of this century.

These are the journals associated in part with The Revelation Painting.

The blogs are rough drafts of sections of the journals which will be published after the painting is released-projected 2012, (projected journal releases 2013-2015).  I have chosen to publish these blogs and not keep them private as it will give the audience an opportunity to learn and grow with The Revelation Painting in this last year which I term:  The Finale’.

The blogs are in no particular order visible to you but they are being separated into their respective journals behind the scenes.  These journals hold several mysteries unveiled in The Book of Revelation from the bible which have been missed throughout history and once revealed will change history as we know it.  So you are reading history in the making!

The Revelation Painting is created for the people of the globe and for the past eleven years, people have participated in its creation.  The overall endeavor is to create visual peace in these times of turmoil throughout the world.  It is an opportunity to focus on something beautiful and designed to place the viewer in awe.  Please see the blog about the painting at:  www.therevelationpainting.wordpress.com

The Journals included with this painting are as follows:

Journal I  The Journal of Dreams

This journal summarizes where and how the painting originated, the initial attempts at its creation, essentially the beginning of the work through its completion.  Background on the artist, past experiences, current experiences and thoughts, ideas and feelings while working on this masterpiece are captured within the pages of the journal.  It contains rare insight into an artist mind while working on a masterpiece!

Journal II  The Journal of Visions

Exploring imagination and visually preparing for this endeavor, the journal recalls where the vision arose and how it developed throughout the twelve total years required to complete The Revelation Painting.  It explores the artist views and personal battles with religion, God, the “calling” as a messenger to complete this massive religious painting.

Journal III  Journal of Measures

The Journal of Measures covers not only the grids and precise measurement required for a 12 foot by 40 foot creation, but the numbers and coincidences found throughout the twelve years required to complete the painting.  Small sketched works were required to become at times “larger than life”.  The journal is in graph form to help facilitate readability and understanding of the creative and sometimes scientific processes required to manually enlarge drawings without the aid of electronics or other artificial means.

Journal IV Journal of Sketches

Preliminary thoughts are sketched and worked through in order to create the perfect scene, exactly how the artist conceptualized the painting upon completion.  Starting often times as merely stick images, working through to the completed characters or scenes.  The journal also includes required experimentation to create a painting which would be durable enough to withstand the test of time, e.g., the effects of the raw mineral sulfur and its acidic effects on cloth canvas.

Journal V  The Stones

In depth coverage about the stones of the twelve foundations noted in The New City are covered in this journal.  Geological, metaphysical, spiritual and origins are also covered.  Stories about global participation in obtaining the stones are also covered.  Tools, lacquer, and very significant mystery of Revelation is disclosed in this journal.

Journal VI  Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!

The artist reveals the profound change made in the painting in 2009 and how it occurred.  Where religion became political and how it forced the artist to find a way to make the painting stay in its original religious state, yet in moments change into a political piece revealing corruption and essentially crimes against humanity!  This is the climax behind the story of The Revelation Painting which will shock and astound followers of the series when it is realized that there has been a battle of good and evil within the painting the entire time!  The painting bleeds-a hemorrhage and returns to its normal state right in front of your eyes!

Journal VII  Journal of Acknowledgement

This is the journal where all participants globally are acknowledged for their participation in the attempt and completion of The Revelation Painting.  A one page advertising area is offered (text only, no photography), to advertise business, make a statement to the world, or anything the author wishes.  Contributions can range from a comment, marketing, to sponsorship or obtaining materials.  Everyone is acknowledged, some to the point of limited ownership of a random section of the painting!

SO COMMENTS ARE VERY SIGNIFICANT IN THESE BLOGS-THE MAIN PAINTING BLOG OR THE JOURNALS.  PLEASE EXPLORE WAYS TO MAKE THE PAINTING BETTER, OFFER MARKETING, DONATIONS, IDEAS, GEMSTONES WHATEVER YOU CAN…IT WILL PAY OFF AND AT THE VERY LEAST, YOUR SELECTED (WHAT YOU CHOSE) INFORMATION WILL BE ASSOCIATED WITH A HISTORICAL PAINTING IN THE JOURNAL OF ACKNOWLEDGEMENT!

The journal titles are written in english and subtitles of the journals as well as subtitles of the scenes of the painting are written in random languages.  The journals will be designed appropriately and with the highest hand quality a painting such as The Revelation Painting deserves and designed to last more than a lifetime.

Dreams

This blog is copied from The Journal of Dreams. One of seven journals to be published after the painting’s release in 12/2012. A time investment of fifteen years will be complete at that time. The Journal of Dreams begins in July 1998 after awakening from deep sleep July 13Th, 1998 and realizing night was filled with dreams of The Revelation Painting.

July 12Th, 1998

Today is my mother, Mary Ann’s birthday. She seemed somewhat sad earlier on the telephone talking about a project she was working on and asked for my help.  I obliged knowing it would be a futile effort this time as it had been for the past 10 years. She had been tied up working feverishly on Spindletop, Texas and her belief our family was the original owner of that land. Although we had been down the road to Spindletop many times in the past, I felt obligated to help her, to give her hope in her desolate life deep in the West Virginia mountains.

Mary Ann Mary Ann
She is a very skilful, self-taught painter but has lost her desire to paint in the past years becoming consumed by isolation and depression. I remembered her telling me once that when my youngest sister left home, she would have no reason to continue life. My sister had moved out some time before. When my mother said that, I gazed deeply into her blue eyes for any sign of untruth and it was not there. She was telling me that she would die of loneliness whether from a broken heart or suicide, it was clear that she was serious.

Whether the Spindletop endeavor was a delusion or not, Mary Ann was my mother and not only did I know what she meant by stating she would have no reason to continue life, I knew that making Spindletop would create a kind of child in the house she so longed for and it would ultimately save her life. Nearly everyday I called her and talked about Spindletop and the information I had found in the libraries, Internet, and other sources. I kept her busy and that kept her alive.

There were three things that would fire up passion in my mother; Spindletop, talking about her paintings, and asking her to relive the story of her death when she was twelve years old. We had talked about Spindletop for months, then months became years, and for some reason, perhaps because it was her birthday, today the topic was shifted to “the story” of her death at twelve. Although I had heard the story many times growing up, each time it was retold and relived was like the first time.

This is the seed of The Revelation Painting and I am convinced of that beyond any doubt. When Mary Ann told the story of her death in such artistic detail and emotion it was like I had been beside her and saw every detail. I asked my mother to tell me the story and she eagerly agreed. Her voice softened as she began to remember, like the humble and respect of being given another chance at life. Her voice was as it had been when I was a child and she was about to tell me something about life that demanded full attention. She began to speak.

“It happened when I was twelve years old. I was laying beside my mom in the bed when all the sudden I felt like I couldn’t breathe. No air would move in or out, I was suffocating! I tried to move and I couldn’t, I tried to yell out to my mother and I couldn’t. I was going to die and I knew it. I was afraid and began to panic. My heart was pounding, my eyes were wide open and just when I thought I could not take it anymore a feeling of calm came over me. My eyes closed and I didn’t have to breathe any longer.

The room became bright. I sat up and I looked for the source of the light to find shiny, golden stairs at the foot of the bed, illuminated and so clean. The stairs were long, so long that I couldn’t see the top of them. Something made me go to them, I had to see where they went and I knew I was supposed to walk up them. Upon stepping on them and walking up it was like I didn’t have to try, almost like floating. My feet touched them but I didn’t breathe hard, I don’t think I had to breathe anymore.

When I got to the top, there was a man dressed all in white standing before a beautiful pearl gate. His skin was golden. Not a white man, not a black man but something between like golden brown. He had piercing green eyes but his face was friendly, I knew he would not hurt me, he glowed of love and peace. The gate was closed but I could see through. The floor was shiny like glass and the glare of the shine was so brilliant I could not see if it was translucent or any color, it was just so shiny clean like the glare on glass.

All of the sudden the man said: “Where have you been?” in a startling voice! I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know what he meant, I hadn’t been anywhere. I didn’t answer, he opened the gate and said in a hurried voice: “Hurry up, he’s been waiting for you!” I felt as though I had to hurry and stepped through the gate. He said: “You shouldn’t keep him waiting.” I remember thinking: “Who?”, but then my attention was drawn to so many people to my right side dressed all in white. A feeling of love, warmth and happiness overwhelmed me.

I tried to see their faces and although I knew them, I couldn’t see their faces. I knew that they loved me and were happy to see me. Hundreds of people and I could feel their love. I don’t know how long I stood there when the man said: “Come this way, he is waiting.” We walked to a door which I was compelled to push open and when I did, the brightest light I had ever seen nearly blinded me. I knew that if I wasn’t supposed to be there the light would have blinded me and I wasn’t afraid. There was a man…something like a man I think. The light was so bright I was unable to make him out. His face was so bright it was impossible to see his eyes, or nose or mouth. Suddenly he began to speak and it was like thunder! I still was not scared though. His voice spoke every language at the same time but I was able to hear my language. It sounded like a creek flowing, like bubbles on the rocks…ploop, plop, doop, doop. He said: “Where have you been, I have been waiting for you?”

I told him I was with my family, my mother and he said it was my time now, I had to come with him. Feeling afraid I told him I wanted to go back to my mother and he said I had been bad. It was time for me to come with him. I tried to think how I had been bad and couldn’t think of what I had done but somehow know I had done something. I started to cry and pleaded with him to let me go back to my family. He said: “I will let you go but remember I will come for you like a thief in the night, you will not know when!”

He continued to say not to tell anyone about this until I was 18 years old. He said: “You will have three chances.” I started to ask what he meant by “three chances” and his voice became very loud and he said: “Run, run now before I change my mind!” All I thought was to run and run fast! As I was running through the door he said: “You will have three chances” and started to laugh. I continued to run through the door, past all the people and down the stairs back to the bed lying beside my mother and I didn’t tell anyone what happened.

When I try to remember back to what happened after I made it back to the bed I can’t remember anything. You are the first I told about it and I was much older than 18 before I told the story. When you were a baby and I looked in your eyes, I knew you were different. Your eyes scared me, but I don’t know why, like a bottomless pit. I don’t know what the dream meant but I know that you are different and you always have been. I knew it since the day you were born and I looked at your eyes.”

 The Eye

The Eye

In West Virginia millions of stars light the sky at night. Within them lives imagination and something comforting. Oddly enough Mary Ann lives where a creek babbles the words only she can hear. She doesn’t talk about what she hears at night in those dark, dark mountains of West Virginia where the absolute sounds of silence are often times as loud as thunder and the thunder drowns out the sounds of life and the living. Sometimes when I visit, in the middle of the night she says: “Let’s go outside and lay on the picnic table and look at the stars.”

Mary Ann is changing, or maybe she changed long ago. When a child leaves home for a time and returns everything is different. I never realized that during star-gazing with my mother there are voices within a creek flowing less than 20 feet away. West Virginia is known as “almost heaven” oddly enough. I can’t say that I have ever heard the voice of God talking to me in all languages through the bubbling and babbling crystal clear waters or that I ever realized it was just us three; Mary Ann, me and God.

Little do I know why my mother fears my eyes, it is disturbing. Her cracking voice of memory tells me that the fear of God she has within her is tied to the piercing, green eyes of the gatekeeper at the top of the stairs the day she almost lost her life.  It makes perfect sense to me. I have a feeling my eyes remind her of him and she struggles with mixed emotions of fear and love. Somewhere along the line I realized that I am one of the three chances she was offered in lieu of life, and that this painting is what she molded me my entire life for through the story of heaven and God, art and imagination.

Could it be that my mother was spared to become the messenger and her destiny was changed for the greater good of the world?  Everyone ponders existence, especially their own and when trying to see what my mother’s existence was for, I see The Revelation Painting.  When I ponder my own existence, I see the massive painting, and feel the warmth of light and energy, and know that I am one of the “three chances”.  Although still unsure of the three chances and what it truly means, I am sure that I am a valuable part of it.  There are five children, 3 sisters and 1 brother.  Three of us were born one year apart, the others some time later.  Could it be that the 3 born a year apart are the chances?  Time will tell.

The Stones-Mystery Revealed!

October 26, 2009

THE REVELATION PAINTING-A MYSTERY REVEALED
This is a true revelation about The Revelation Painting. Throughout history it has been missed and will change religion, as well as history as we know it to be regarding Revelation in the bible. After working on this painting for the past 11 years I realize exactly how something of this magnitude was missed. Upon crushing stones for the painting I began to see how the colors created something very familiar although it was not fully apparent at first. Initially I saw the stones of the twelve foundations just as anyone else but then started to see a pattern. Intermittently within the pattern some stones seemed out of place. I began to research the origins of the stones, ancient known colors, their original names, ancient descriptions and then I realized what the stones meant. A story unfolded before my eyes!
The first stone of the twelve foundations is Jasper (please see the blog on Jasper and subsequent stones). I imagined a “New City” in the sky; the heavens and thought the correct stone was Ocean Jasper; a blue stone. I began requesting Ocean Jasper from all over the world. It was through a dream that I realized my mistake only 10 years later. A dream lead to the discovery and it was as though a tape recorder played the sentence: “His face shone like the sun, as a precious gemstone as clear as crystal; a Jasper stone.” Day and night the words taunted me. I researched Jasper; a quartz and realized that it was the clear, brilliance of quartz crystal which reflects small rainbows within it similar to a diamond effect! What better a stone to signify the pure cleanliness, shine and glory of God himself? A city which “shines like the sun”.
Sapphire followed but the common blue sapphire was not correct either. Upon researching the colors of Sapphire, I was in awe to realize that red Sapphire is a Ruby! I placed a Ruby for the second stone of the foundations and threw caution to the wind. It was a very expense risk and the first time I smashed a ruby into shards I thought I would pass out but interestingly enough, it was comfortable and extremely natural. Mingling ruby with the quartz began to create a fading effect, like dry pigments; the richer the mixing the darker the color, so a small amount caused a pink effect fading to a rich, translucent red-the hallmark of the brilliance only Ruby has. Little did I realize at that time the translucency also played a significant role in the meaning of the New City and the twelve foundation stones.
The third stone, Chalcedony was also known for its sky blue, heavenly color. Now, against the red and clear it was obvious that the blue was incorrect. According to the pattern of color I was trying to achieve it was apparent the Chalcedony was minimally red-orange, if not solidly red. I researched Chalcedony and once again was surprised to find that red is a rare color of the stone. The red of Chalcedony is more opaque that the Ruby. When I looked at the red color it reminded me of blood; the red-orange color of blood and it was like the brilliance of God was bleeding, fading like a slow bleed. It was only destiny that the next stone-Emerald was red. I battled over my theory and knew that at one time Emerald had to have been a red stone. I started from the beginning.
Emerald is a Beryl. Beryl’s come in all colors, including red. After intermittently learning about stones, it was when the economic crisis in the United States prompted me to start collecting a “nest egg”, something that would always have value throughout time like gold, platinum, precious gemstones… I looked for the rarest gemstone in the world and found beyond my wildest imagination red Beryl, a red “Emerald” or Bixbite! I still faced the dilemma of why the only Emerald I had ever known was green. I found that in the 1800s green Beryl was separated from the family and man called it Emerald! I had found the discrepancy amongst the stones and within the fade from translucency to opaque, the deepest red of Bixbite is the color of blood! My New City was bleeding!
What is the most powerful sacrifice made for humanity in the bible? Jesus shed his blood and died for our sins so that we will have everlasting life. Everlasting life in God’s New City! How appropriate for a New City-God’s New City, a new and pure beginning to shine in his image first and foremost. Secondly, to never let us forget the sacrifice which was made-Jesus’ blood and ultimately his life? The first six foundations show glory, a slow bleed, a vanishing bleed through Sardonyx and Sardius (Carnelian) turning red-orange to orange, and the seventh stone (a division stone from one message to another yet overlapping to connect the meanings of a promise), is Chrysolite-gold, like the streets of the New City shiny like glass.
The following colors after Chrysolite are the seven colors of the rainbow in their correct order. A rainbow signifies a “promise” as noted in the story of Noah’s Arch. Personally I would imagine that within the New City there would include a promise of purity, overall good and God’s plan. As I have stated before: I am not religious but I am learning to make my own decisions. If I were God I suppose I would have hidden astounding clues within my work which is what prompted the many mysteries within The Revelation Painting. It is an exciting time and Revelation is rising!

RAINBOW

Revelation is about sevens and mysteries. There are seven colors in a rainbow. The seventh stone from top to bottom in the mentioned in the foundations is Chrysolite which signifies a division line within the foundation stones between two messages.

JASPER (QUARTZ)
Rev. 21:11 …“It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like Jasper, clear as crystal.”

JASPER-QUARTZ “As clear as crystal”

SAPPHIRE (RUBY)
Every color of the stone Corundum is considered a ”Sapphire” except for red. The red Sapphire is a Ruby.
Translucent red fading from the clear…starting to bleed…

SAPPHIRE (RED) RUBY

CHALCEDONY
More opaque, a richer red-a rare color…heavier bleeding…

CHALCEDONY (RED-OPAQUE)

EMERALD
A Beryl. In the 1800’s, man removed the green Beryl from the Beryl group and called it an Emerald. Is this the Emerald mentioned in the foundations of the New City? It fits perfectly into the scheme of color and meaning.
RED Beryl-Bixbite, the rarest gemstone in the world!
The feedback about this stone is amazing, many people are attracted to it compared to other stones of the painting and ask constantly what kind of stone it is. Why would that be?Why does the stone fall in this position within the foundations? Does it symbolize the rarity of Jesus’ blood? Only 60 pounds of this rare stone was ever mined!
(This gem is typically heavily included, opaque, and the faceted Gem is very expensive. You could expect to pay $20,000 to $25,000 for a one (1) carat Red Beryl; RED EMERALD!)

EMERALD (RED) BIXBITE

SARDONYX
Blood (red blood cells and yellow plasma)
The blood is now fading from red to orange.

SARDONYX (Red Orange Transition)

SARDIUS
Carnelian-pure ORANGE transitional stone into the remaining rainbow. The second color of the rainbow.

SARDIUS-CARNELIAN

CHRYSOLITE-Beryl. Heliodor-golden, the streets of the New City are also gold like glass. This is the separation line between two messages.

BERYL (YELLOW)

TOPAZ
Green

TOPAZ Green

CHRYSOPRASUS
Chrysoprase BLUE…rainbow blue (teal) reference the rainbow.

Chrysoprasus-Chrysoprase Blue

JACINTH
Hyacinth in ancient times and Hyacinth is blue Sapphire.
Sapphire (blue) INDIGO

JACINTH (HYCINTH-Sapphire Blue)

AMETHYST
VIOLET

AMETHYST Purple

The New City built by GOD will shine in the image of God’s glory (as noted above-the “shine”) as Jesus’ blood flows to let us never forget the sacrifice he made. The blood separated by the golden division line from blood to the seven (remaining five) rainbow colors in their correct order, of a promise of God’s love.

RAINBOW-A promise!

THE REVELATION PAINTING
Please note the most of the stones mentioned have a spectrum of colors, which exhibit fading and transitional properties from one stone to another, therefore one color of the rainbow to the next, e.g. A Ruby may be represented in pink to red in various shades and a Topaz can range in the green-blues, among other colors. Amethyst can be seen in darkest purple to violet to an almost clear (among other colors), which could be considered blending with the clear Jasper and starting the process all over again.

The FIRST MYSTERY OF REVELATION

THE FOUR HORSEMEN

A long time ago, when I was still considered a child I tried to sketch what I envisioned and dreamed regarding this painting and was unable to.  Believing it just wasn’t my time, that I hadn’t yet earned the right I continued on with my life.  Although I had made bets with myself to read the entire bible, I often became discouraged because I did not understand what I was reading and still do not…mostly.  I would put the bible up and forget about it.  I had read or heard that if you simply ask for understanding, you will receive it.  I also read not to test God, but the rebel I am an have always been went ahead and tested him.  I asked for understanding.  Sometime later, I read Revelation like I always did, as an artist and not a religious person.  I got to the Four Horsemen and found my heart pounding in realization…
I had earned the right, I finally understood!

Once widely used to classify races of humans and still used in Forensics and medical sciences, I find it interesting that the four primary races match the colors of the horses in overall color, (please see blog regarding the Pale Horse separate from this entry) as well as the roles the horses represent.  The terms are not used as much publicly due to the “offensive” projections people feel they create.  For this piece, I will use them for scientific and artistic purposes in order to express my theory as I see it.  All I can tell you is if you feel offended, close the blog.

Theoretically, the Caucasian-white, Australoid-red, Negroid-black, and the Mongoloid-pale (In art the lightest basic color in the color scale before white, classified as “pale”).  One could argue the “pale” theory but I am not here to argue that, I am here to express my theory as an artist, keep an open mind, continue researching the subject and make sure I have scientific evidence and proven information.

The terms are used in physical anthropology and intricate details of each skull type are used to classify the originations of various humans or the regions of the world from which they were first known to inhabit.  It is interesting information and you may not be who you think you are!  In science and through excessive research, it has been found that:

Caucasoid people were/are indigenous to Europe (see European countries:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe), Western and South Asia, as well as a Western section of Central Asia and North Africa.

Australoid-Australoid peoples ranged throughout Australia, New Guinea, and Melanesia, as well as different parts of Oceania , Philippines,Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and the Southern Middle East.

Negroid are people from a Southern portion of North Africa and sub-Sahara Africa.

Mongoloid people are East and Southeast Asian, the Eastern portion of Southeast Asia, Polynesia, Far East Central Asia, Greenland, Far Eastern region of South Asia and the Americas!  (This is very significant in the story of The Four Horsemen.)

See link for geographical reference to race originations:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craniofacial_anthropometry

Please note that ALL people classified in the origin may not have an active role in the events represented by their horses’ role.

So, what does all this mean?
These are the Four Horsemen of Revelation:
The White Horse-Caucasoid
The Red Horse-Australoid
The Black Horse-Negroid
The Pale Horse-Mongoloid

SECTION ONE-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE WHITE HORSE

According to Revelation the White Horse:

“…And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer…”

EUROPEAN MAJOR WARS/Events:
French Revolution 1789, Industrial Revolution-Second half of the 18th century, Russian Revolution 1917.  See:  World War II Timeline…Germany, Hitler, Soviets, etc… It is astounding information!  http://www.historyplace.com/worldwar2/timeline/ww2time.htm
And in current times the threat of The New World Order-The wealthiest most powerful bloodlines in the world.
The 13 bloodlines are:

The Astor Bloodline
The Bundy Bloodline
The Collins Bloodline
The DuPont Bloodline
The Freeman Bloodline
The Kennedy Bloodline
The Li Bloodline
The Onassis Bloodline
The Reynolds Bloodline
The Rockefeller Bloodline
The Rothschild Bloodline
The Russel Bloodline
The Van Duyn Bloodline

Also as a 14th bloodline theirs a Merovingian (Merovingian – a Frankish dynasty founded by Clovis I that reigned in Gaul and Germany from about 500 to 750 bloodline) which has something to do with the European Royal Families and also 3 interconnected bloodlines,

The Disney Bloodline
The Krupp Bloodline
The McDonald Bloodline.

It appears throughout time, the Caucasian race has utilized the bow and crown given to him.
Some text theorize the White Horse is the Antichrist but does not link the theory to research, although if I had to look at it in that manner, I would have to agree.
If a person looked at these horses as not only races of people but the timelines and peaks of their reigns, that person could calculate events before they happen.  The times overlap yet there are definite peaks, as you will see in The Black Horse theory.

SECTION TWO-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE RED HORSE

The Red Horse-Australoid:

”…And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword…”

The focus on The Red Horses Australoid origin would obviously focus on the Middle East in current times all the way back to biblical times.  Peace has definitely been taken from the earth for a long, long time due to the discord.  The Middle East fight among themselves and indeed kill each other.

My confusion came when I thought about the American Indians and their skin colors so similar to Middle Eastern.  I thought they did fight amongst themselves and kill each other too, along with others but if they were here before “white men”, they did not fit into the Australoid origin theory.  My entire theory was shot…But then I started thinking, well then, where did they originate from?

SHOCKINGLY, this is what I surely did not expect to find:
Skulls of peoples with Australoid morphologies have been found in the Americas, leading to speculation that peoples with phenotypical similarities to modern Australoids may have been the earliest occupants of the continent.

SECTION THREE-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE BLACK HORSE

“…and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of balances (scales) in his hand…”

I went over some of this material in my post regarding the Black Horse previously.  I stated as the artist, and as a human being that I felt no man in history had given so much toward equality in the world as Martin Luther King, even losing his life for it.  It was his actions which gave birth to all of the equal rights movements for so many things in current history.

For me, the balances (scales) are equality and therefore justice by weight of evidence measured.  I also noted that the rider of the Black Horse will be Martin Luther King.  The equality explosion occurred in effort to obtain equal rights for African Americans, and all people in general.  So it would center around the Negroid race.

SECTION FOUR-THE FOUR HORSEMEN-THE PALE HORSE

THE MONGOLOID PEOPLE-THE PALE HORSE

“…And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him…”

Mongoloid people are East and Southeast Asian, the Eastern portion of Southeast Asia, Polynesia, Far East Central Asia, Greenland, Far Eastern region of South Asia and surprisingly enough, the Americas!

Shocking to realize WE (Pale Americans) are the Pale Horse!

Is it coincidental that we are currently on the brink of World War III?  Is it too far fetched to think that America does not have a major role in the unsettled politics of our current times and the overall turmoil of the world?  Are we the rider named Death?

  JASPER

THE FIRST FOUNDATION OF THE NEW CITY-SCENE VII

Personal Note:

Please note that the information listed is derived from many sources and research regarding the stones is ongoing.  It is difficult to use information of our current times when in biblical times that information may have been different (note the post regarding Emeralds when it is posted).

Obtaining the stones for the New City was my first endeavor when initiating supplies needed for the painting.  I focused on the “bible” names and nothing more.  When I began soliciting for and collecting stones from all over the world, I took their literal “bible” meaning.  Jasper is an excellent example of the confusion and controversy I began to face.

Jasper is noted to be mainly reds and browns most commonly.  There are banded and spotted in nearly all colors.  I imagined the stone used was red, perhaps banded with browns, blacks and yellow/whites as it was the most commonly seen stone with research.  There were blues (ocean jasper) which were magnificent but rare.  I wondered if the blue was the correct stone to use in order to illuminate the heavenly blue colors of God’s New City.

It was not until several years later I realized my error!  I had been collecting the wrong color all along.  I had read Revelation so many times and missed what I now understand jasper to be.  I began to research the stones from ancient times, scientifically, geologically, metaphysically and any way to develop a true understanding of exactly what each stone signifies.

As I have previously stated: “I am not religious but I am learning”, and in that growth I tried to walk a mile in another “man’s” shoes to find out exactly what was on God’s mind when he mastered the architecture of his New City.  I imagine the plan was to mark HIS New City with HIS glory which SHINES like the sun.  What a better stone to use to crown HIS glory!

CLEAR QUARTZ

Referring to God and The New City from various biblical text:

  • Rev. 4:3 And he that sat was to the sight like the jasper and sardine stone
  • Rev. 4:6 …and before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal…
  • Rev. 21:11 Having the glory of God, and the light thereof was like to a precious stone, as to the jasper stone, even as crystal… (SECOND TRANSLATION: …having the glory of God.  … brilliance was like a very costly stone of crystal-clear jasper.)
  • Rev. 21:23 And the city hath no need of the sun, nor of the moon to shine in it.  For the glory of God hath enlightened it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.

FACTS REGARDING JASPER:

  • Quartz is divided into two types:
  • Macrocrystalline-Crystals are visible with the unaided eye.
  • Cryptocrystalline-A microscope is required to see the individual crystals.
  • Jasper is quartz of the cryptocrystalline type that can be of two distinct types; micro granular and fibrous.
  • Quartz makes up 12% of the earth’s crust. (ODDLY ABUNDANT-REMEMBER THAT WHEN READING ABOUT THE STONES IN VARIOUS BLOGS.  A MYSTERY OF REVELATION WILL BE REVEALED IN THE BLOG SHORTLY BEFORE THE PAINTING IS UNVEILED 12/2010 WHICH WILL CHANGE HISTORY~!)
  • As the most abundant mineral on earth, quartz and jasper are found all over the world.
  • Jasper is often multicolored, banded or spotted and is commonly found in reds and browns.
  • Has long been used as tools for hardness; spears and axes.
  • Helps cure liver, intestinal ailments, stomach, gynecological, and cleanse the body of toxins.
  • The stone was once believed to cure insanity with God’s help, and heal demon possessed.
  • Egyptians placed amulets on the deceased as jasper was believed to create a safe passage in death.
  • Protective, calming, offers stability, and balances the emotional and intellectual.
  • Known as “the great rain bearer” in the fourth century.
  • Origin of the name Jasper is Greek: iaspis.
  • Brings happiness, aids in sleep, protective properties.

Major sources of Jasper include:

Venezuela, Germany, North Africa, Brazil, Canada, United States, Madagascar, Russia, Ural Mountains, India, Sicily, France, Egypt, Uruguay, Australia, Kazakhstan

CHERRY QUARTZ

As the stones are found nearly all over the world, sometimes we do not see the world, the people and only value the worth of the stones.  Learning about different people and cultures not only creates a “worldly person”, it also creates a deeper understanding of life, promotes unity, and makes the world an overall better place to live.

Venezuela

Venezuela
http://www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/nytmaps.pl?venezuela
The Culture of Venezuela is product of a very rich and diverse set of cultural traditions. A sort of melting pot culture has been created by wide influences, from the original American Indians to the Spanish and Africans who arrived after the Spanish conquest. Then 19th century and 20th century immigration brought many Italians, Portuguese, Arabs, Germans, and others from the bordering countries of South America. About 85% of Venezuelans live in urban areas in the northern part of the country. Although almost half of the land area is south of the Orinoco River, only 5% of the population live in that area. About 95% of the population call themselves Roman Catholic. The rest belong to other churches, mainly the Protestant church.  Read more at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_of_Venezuela

VENEZUELA
History and Culture

In ancient times, Venezuela was paradise for the Indians who lived on its beaches, in its tropical forests, and on the gentle grassland of theven04.jpg (20686 bytes) llanos. There were three main groups: the Carib, Arawak, and the Chibcha. They lived in small groups and all of them practiced some degree of farming; the land, however, was bountiful enough so that this was not always a necessity. They could easily hunt, fish for, and gather their food. The most advanced of the three were the Chibcha who lived on the eastern slopes of the Andes. Though they never developed large cities, their agricultural skill were formidable: they terraced parts of the Andes and built sophisticated irrigation channels to water their crops.

Christopher Columbus was the first European to visit Venezuela. He came in 1498 during his third voyage to the New World, and landed on the Peninsula de Paria. Following the coast, he explored the Rio Orinoco Delta and concluded that he had found much more than another Caribbean island. More explorers came a year later, and it was Alonso de Ojeda who gave the country its name. Arriving at Lake Maracaibo, he admired the stilted houses that the Indians had build above the lake and called the place Venezuela – “Little Venice.” A year after that the Spanish established their first settlement, Nueva Cadiz, which was later destroyed by a tsunami. Early colonization in Venezuela was much less rampant than it was in other parts of South America, and the colony was ruled with a loose hand from Bogota. It was much less important to the Spanish than the mineral-producing colonies of Western South America, but Venezuela would later surprise the world when massive oil reserves would be discovered.

Venezuela may have been a quiet outpost on the edge of the Spanish Empire, but it gave birth to the man who would one day turn that empire on its head: Simon Bolivar. With the help of BritishVenezuela Plaza Bolivar mercenaries, Bolivar and his followers campaigned against the Spanish tirelessly, marching across the Andes and liberating Colombia in 1819, Venezuela in 1821, and Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia in 1825. Much of his army was composed of native Venezuelans. Independence did not prove easy for the new nation. Civil strife, wars, and dictatorships raged in the country well into the next century. Though some dictators sought real reform, most milked their positions for personal gain. Border disputes with the British colony of Guyana erupted in the 1840s, and although they never boiled over into full-fledged warfare, Venezuela still disputes the border to this day.

In the early 1900s, the conflict-ridden nation finally began to get on its economic feet with the discovery of oil, and by the 20s Venezuela was beginning to reap the benefits. Unfortunately, most of the wealth remained with the ruling class, and the plague of dictators continued until 1947 when Romulo Betancourt led a popular revolt and rewrote the constitution. The first president-elect in Venezuela’s history took office the same year, the novelist Romulo Gallegos. Unfortunately, he was ousted by another dictator and the country did not experience a non-violent presidential succession until 1963. For the next 25 years, things went comparatively well. An oil boom in the mid-1970s saw enormous wealth pour into the country, though, as always, the vast lower class benefited little. Oil prices dropped in the late 80s and once again the country was thrown into crisis. Riots swept through Caracas and were violently repressed, and two coup attempts took place in 1992. Right now, the nation’s stability and future are uncertain.

ven05.jpg (20377 bytes)Despite a rough history, Venezuelans are infamous in South America for their easy-going nature and fun-loving spirit. Their national mythology hails back to the days when independent and rugged settlers tamed the lawlessness of the llanos, a heritage not unlike that of the American West. Most Venezuelans them come from a mix of European, Indian, and African roots, while a minority are exclusively white, black, or Indian. Roman Catholicism is the overwhelmingly dominant religion.

North Africa

http://printable-maps.blogspot.com/2008/09/physical-map-of-north-africa.html
A physical map of North Africa showing topographical features.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Africa
North Africa or Northern Africa is the northernmost region of the African continent, linked by the Sahara to Sub-Saharan Africa. Geopolitically, the UN definition of Northern Africa includes the following seven countries or territories; Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.
The Spanish plazas de soberanía (exclaves) are on the southern coast of the Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by Morocco on land….The distinction between Northern Africa and the rest of Africa is historically significant because of the effective barrier created by the Sahara. Throughout history this barrier has culturally separated the North from the rest of Africa and, as the seafaring civilizations of the Phoenecians, Greeks, Romans and others facilitated communication and migration across the Mediterranean, the cultures of North Africa became much more closely tied to Southwestern Asia and Europe than Sub-Saharan Africa.
The inhabitants of North Africa are generally divided in a manner roughly corresponding to the principal geographic regions of North Africa: the Maghreb, the Nile Valley, and the Sahara. Northwest Africa on the whole is believed to have been inhabited by Berbers since before the beginning of recorded history, while the eastern part of North Africa has been home to the Egyptians. Ancient Egyptians record extensive contact in their Western desert with peoples that appear to have been Berber or proto-Berber.

EGYPT

http://www.wordtravels.com/Travelguide/Countries/Egypt/Map

Officially the Arab Republic of Egypt, is a country mainly in North Africa, with the Sinai Peninsula forming a land bridge in Southwest Asia. Thereby, Egypt is a transcontinental country, and is considered to be a major power in North Africa, Mediterranean Region, African continent, Nile Basin, Islamic World and the Red Sea. Covering an area of about 1,010,000 square kilometers (390,000 sq mi), Egypt is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Gaza Strip and Israel to the northeast, the Red Sea to the east, Sudan to the south and Libya to the west.

Egypt is one of the most populous countries in Africa and the Middle East. The great majority of its estimated 77.4 million live near the banks of the Nile River, in an area of about 40,000 square kilometers (15,000 sq mi), where the only arable agricultural land is found. The large areas of the Sahara Desert are sparsely inhabited. About half of Egypt’s residents live in urban areas, with most spread across the densely populated centres of greater Cairo, Alexandria and other major cities in the Nile Delta.

Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and some of the world’s most famous monuments, including the Giza pyramid complex and its Great Sphinx. The southern city of Luxor contains many ancient artifacts, such as the Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. Egypt is widely regarded as an important political and cultural nation of the Middle East.

Egypt possesses one of the most developed and diversified economies in the Middle East, with sectors such as tourism, agriculture, industry and service at almost equal rates in national production.  Consequently, the Egyptian economy is rapidly developing, due in part to legislation aimed at luring investments, coupled with both internal and political stability, along with recent trade and market liberalization.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt

Ancient Egypt was an ancient civilization of eastern North Africa, concentrated along the lower reaches of the Nile River in what is now the modern country of Egypt. The civilization coalesced around 3150 BC  with the political unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under the first pharaoh, and it developed over the next three millennia.  Its history occurred in a series of stable Kingdoms, separated by periods of relative instability known as Intermediate Periods. Ancient Egypt reached its pinnacle during the New Kingdom, after which it entered a period of slow decline. Egypt was conquered by a succession of foreign powers in this late period, and the rule of the pharaohs officially ended in 31 BC when the early Roman Empire conquered Egypt and made it a province.

The success of ancient Egyptian civilization stemmed partly from its ability to adapt to the conditions of the Nile River Valley. The predictable flooding and controlled irrigation of the fertile valley produced surplus crops, which fueled social development and culture. With resources to spare, the administration sponsored mineral exploitation of the valley and surrounding desert regions, the early development of an independent writing system, the organization of collective construction and agricultural projects, trade with surrounding regions, and a military intended to defeat foreign enemies and assert Egyptian dominance. Motivating and organizing these activities was a bureaucracy of elite scribes, religious leaders, and administrators under the control of a pharaoh who ensured the cooperation and unity of the Egyptian people in the context of an elaborate system of religious beliefs.

The many achievements of the ancient Egyptians include the quarrying, surveying and construction techniques that facilitated the building of monumental pyramids, temples, and obelisks; a system of mathematics, a practical and effective system of medicine, irrigation systems and agricultural production techniques, the first known ships, Egyptian faience and glass technology, new forms of literature, and the earliest known peace treaty.  Egypt left a lasting legacy. Its art and architecture were widely copied, and its antiquities carried off to far corners of the world. Its monumental ruins have inspired the imaginations of travellers and writers for centuries. A newfound respect for antiquities and excavations in the early modern period led to the scientific investigation of Egyptian civilization and a greater appreciation of its cultural legacy, for Egypt and the world.

The People, The Culture…Modern Egypt

The Culture of Egypt has six thousand years of recorded history. Ancient Egypt was among the earliest civilizations. For millennia, Egypt maintained a strikingly complex and stable culture that influenced later cultures of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. After the Pharaonic era, Egypt itself came under the influence of Hellenism, for a time Christianity, and later, Arab and Islamic culture. Today, many aspects of Egypt’s ancient culture exist in interaction with newer elements, including the influence of modern Western culture.

SAPPHIRE

RED SAPPHIRE = RUBY!

The Second Foundation-Scene VII

As noted in the first blog of the stones, the meaning the stones used to create The New City holds within them a mystery of Revelation which was discovered while crushing the stones.  This mystery will change history and religion as we current understand them related to Revelation, it is history in the making!  Please note that in ancient times stones were classified differently than today and were not a separated family with different names as we see today.

As noted in the first blog about the stones, research is ongoing regarding the stones, their dates of origin, name origins, when and/or if they became classified as separates from their original families due to color or other contributing factors.  Sapphire is a stone which has numerous separations as you will see in the Jacinth blog.  Once all blogs have been written it will become apparent that the current classifications are what ultimately changed the meaning.

Sapphire is corundum and is currently (in modern times) the non-red variety of corundum, the second hardest natural mineral known to mankindI have not been able to distinguish when in time the color separation of corundum occurred other than the given name was used in the 19th century, and when the red sapphire became classified differently from the corundum family.  The red variety of corundum is Rubyall other colors became called sapphire, even pink.

RUBY-red sapphire (translucent) RUBY-red sapphire (translucent)

Corundum in all colors is known as sapphire except the medium to dark red tones which in modern times characterize ruby.  Sapphire is commonly known as blue yet colors which make up this family of mineral, when applied correctly include yellow, brown, green, black, purple, orange, pink, colorless, and ranges within those colors.  Although this blog is about Sapphire or Ruby, it is worth mentioning the stone Jacinth was Hycinth in ancient times, which is Sapphire.

A one carat ruby can range in price, according to color, size, clarity and cut to over $10,000.00.  The quality makes the difference and the bigger the stone, the more it is worth.  For example, in 2008 in Geneva through Christie’s (auction sale) a ring “The Graff Ruby sold for $3,647,480.00 which per carat was $425,000.000.  Rubies are often times worth per carat, more than diamonds…Amazing!

The Revelation Painting requires  gemstones crushed into shards including rough and faceted where appraisals were not obtained beforehand.  I do not know if the rough gems I crushed wher in fact worth $425,000.00 per carat or not.  It sounds ludicrous but the message of the painting in my eyes is worth far more than a monetary value.  A simple personal philosophy is that I cannot take this painting when I leave the earth, but I can take the impact it made upon the world!

Rough Ruby Rough Ruby

Also, some faceted stones from Thailand and other Asian countries were lead glass filled which is considered “enhanced or treated”.  Although still ruby, flawed, it is a process where the natural feathering or flaws within the stone is lead glass filled which eliminates the flaw and adds weight to the stone.  Sellers are supposed to disclose this process but do not readily do so.  The stone after time returns to its flawed state.  In the painting, although thousands of dollars worth of rubies were used, some were “enhanced”.

The spiritual meaning of ruby includes wisdom related to spiritual matters, confidence, helps to focus concentration, offer contentment and peace, and is commonly known as the stone of life and energy.  (As in the Jasper blog, please remember-LIFE and ENERGY as it relates to the uncovered mystery of the stones in the foundation of The New City).  The ruby is considered the most powerful gem in the universe!  The gift of ruby symbolizes friendship and love.

Rubies are found in many parts of the world and have been mined for centuries.  Burma is the main source for the finest rubies but in recent years very few quality rubies have been found.  The finest ruby color is known or described as “pigeon’s blood”.  Other areas where rubies are mined include:  Kenya, Greenland, Tanzania, Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, United States, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan as well as other locations.

The name ruby was derived from the Latin word ruber which means simply “red”.

CHALCEDONY

THE THIRD FOUNDATION IN THE NEW CITY SCENE VII

http://www.neweragems.net/?p=p_6&iPage=2

Chalcedony is a quartz, specifically a microcrystalline (the crystals are too small to be seen by any other means other than high magnification) quartz.  The term chalcedony is derived from the name of the ancient Greek town Chalkedon in Asia Minor, in modern English usually spelled Chalcedon, today the Kadıköy district of Istanbul.  It is usually sold as Chalcedony if translucency is visible and of a single color.  Other microcrystalline sold under various names which do not meet the before stated criteria.  Visually Chalcedony is the finer specimen.  An example stone not meeting the criteria is Jasper; a close relative, (please see the blog on Quartz).

Chalcedony comes in a variety of colors and is most known for its sky blue.  Initially a far better stone in the 12 foundations to illuminate the heavenly blue skies I imagined.  Upon soliciting stones from all over the world, it was the blue which I requested unknowing then, it was the wrong color.  My collection of carat weight Chalcedony in rough and faceted form is vast in the blue colors.

I only found within the last year that it was the red I needed for accuracy in the mystery I have uncovered about the foundation stones which have been missed throughout all time!  A more opaque, red chalcedony; otherwise known as Carnelian, owes its red to color to hematite (iron oxide).  Sardius, the 5th stone is also Carnelian but more orange than red.

RED CHALCEDONY

Chalcedony has been used as an ornamental throughout time all over the world in carvings and jewelry and is known by several names including:  Agate, Bloodstone, Carnelian, Chrysoprase, Onyx, Sardonyx, Plasma, Sard, among other names.  Interestingly enough several of these stones are mentioned within the 12 foundations of the New City.  Many of the stones are related, or very closely related in fact.  Through research, the stones are related to agates and the red Chalcedony a.k.a Carnelian, Sard, Sardius, Sardonyx are artisically just different shades of reds and oranges.

Culturally the stone was used as a sacred stone by Native Americans which helped to promote stability within the ceremonial activities of the tribe. Chalcedony is said to augment emotional balance, vitality, stamina, endurance, kindness, charity and friendliness.  It is said to aid in prevention and curing of melancholy and driving away evil spirits, and a preventive of danger during sinister events.  It is known as an antinflamatory, lowers fever, helps the eyes, eliminates fluid retention, decreases blood pressure, helps the body with changes in temperature.

Although found worldwide, the main sources are:  U.S., Brazil, southwestern Africa, Madagascar, India, Morocco and Uruguay.  Chalcedony is one of the earliest materials used by humans; flint is a form of chalcedony, and these hard stones were made into weapons and tools.  Hot wax does not stick to chalcedony, so seals were made of it in ancient times.

http://www.wordtravels.com/Travelguide/Countries/India/Map

India, officially the Republic of India (Hindi: भारत गणराज्य Bhārat Gaṇarājya; see also in other Indian languages), is a country in South Asia. It is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second-most populous country with over 1.18 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world.

http://www.topindiatravel.com/westindiatour/west-india-cultural-tour.php

Bounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the west, and the Bay of Bengal on the east, India has a coastline of 7,517 kilometres (4,700 mi).   It is bordered by Pakistan to the west; China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north; and Bangladesh and Burma to the east. India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, and the Maldives in the Indian Ocean.

Home to the Indus Valley Civilisation and a region of historic trade routes and vast empires, the Indian subcontinent was identified with its commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history.  Four major religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism originated here, while Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam arrived in the first millennium CE and shaped the region’s diverse culture. Gradually annexed by the British East India Company from the early eighteenth century and colonised by the United Kingdom from the mid-nineteenth century, India became an independent nation in 1947 after a struggle for independence that was marked by widespread non-violent resistance.

India is a republic consisting of 28 states and seven union territories with a parliamentary system of democracy. The Indian economy is the world’s eleventh largest economy by nominal GDP and the fourth largest by purchasing power parity.   It has the second-largest standing army in the world.  Economic reforms since 1991 have transformed it into one of the fastest growing economies in the world; however, it still suffers from poverty,  illiteracy,  corruption, disease, and malnutrition.  India is a nuclear weapon state and has the tenth-largest military spending in the world.  A pluralistic, multilingual and multiethnic society, India is also home to a diversity of wildlife in a variety of protected habitats.

In the 20th century, a nationwide struggle for independence was launched by the Indian National Congress and other political organisations.  Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi led millions of people in several national campaigns of non-violent civil disobedience.

http://www.teachnet.ie/fwilliams/2006/text/hinduism.htm

On 15 August 1947, India gained independence from British rule, but at the same time the Muslim-majority areas were partitioned to form a separate state of Pakistan.  On 26 January 1950, India became a republic and a new constitution came into effect.

Since independence, India has faced challenges from religious violence, casteism, naxalism, terrorism and regional separatist insurgencies, especially in Jammu and Kashmir and Northeast India. Since the 1990s terrorist attacks have affected many Indian cities. India has unresolved territorial disputes with the People’s Republic of China, which in 1962 escalated into the Sino-Indian War, and with Pakistan, which resulted in wars in 1947, 1965, 1971 and 1999. India is a founding member of the United Nations (as British India) and the Non-Aligned Movement. In 1974, India conducted an underground nuclear test and five more tests in 1998, making India a nuclear state.  Beginning in 1991, significant economic reforms have transformed India into one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, increasing its global clout.

Many Indian festivals are religious in origin, although several are celebrated irrespective of caste and creed. Some popular festivals are Diwali, Ganesh Chaturthi, Ugadi, Thai Pongal, Holi, Onam, Vijayadashami, Durga Puja, Eid ul-Fitr, Bakr-Id, Christmas, Buddha Jayanti and Vaisakhi.  India has three national holidays which are observed in all states and union territories — Republic Day, Independence Day and Gandhi Jayanthi. Other sets of holidays, varying between nine and twelve, are officially observed in individual states. Religious practices are an integral part of everyday life and are a very public affair.

Morocco

http://www.merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/nytmaps.pl?morocco

Officially the Kingdom of Morocco (المملكة المغربية, al-Mamlakah al-Maġribiyya), is a country located in North Africa. It has a population of nearly 32 million and an area of 710.850 km², including the disputed Western Sahara which is mainly under Moroccan administration. Morocco has a coast on the Atlantic Ocean that reaches past the Strait of Gibraltar into the Mediterranean Sea. It is bordered by Spain to the north (a water border through the Strait and land borders with three small Spanish exclaves, Ceuta, Melilla, and Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera), Algeria to the east, and Mauritania to the south.

Morocco is a de jure constitutional monarchy with an elected parliament. The King of Morocco, holds vast executive powers, including dissolving parliament. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the two chambers of parliament, the Assembly of Representatives and the Assembly of Councillors. Parliamentary elections were held in Morocco on 7 September 2007, and were considered by observers as mostly free and fair. Though voter turnout was estimated to be 37%, the lowest in Moroccan political history. The political capital is Rabat, and the largest city is Casablanca; other large cities includes Fes, Salé, Agadir, Marrakesh, Tangier, Meknes, Oujda and Tetouan.

The history of Morocco spans over 12 centuries, and the country was first unified by the Idrisid dynasty in 780, representing the first Islamic state in Africa autonomous from the Arab Empire. Under the Almoravid dynasty and the Almohad dynasty, Morocco dominated the Maghreb and muslim Spain. The Reconquista ended Almohad rule in Iberia and many muslims and Jews migrated to Morocco. Under the Saadi Dynasty, Morocco would consolidate power and fight off Portugese and Ottoman invaders, as in the battle of Ksar el Kebir. The reign of Ahmad al-Mansur brought new wealth and prestige to the Sultanate, and an invasion of the Songhay Empire was initiated. However managing the territories across the Sahara proved to difficult.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sahara

After the death of al-Mansur the country was divided among his sons. In 1666 the sultanate was reunited by the Alaouite dynasty, who have since been the ruling house in Morocco. The organization of the state developed with Ismail Ibn Sharif. With his Black Guard he drove the English from Tangier (1684) and the Spanish from Larache (1689). The Alaouite dynasty distinguished itself in the 20th century by maintaining Moroccan independence while other states in the region succumbed to European interests. In 1912, after the First Moroccan Crisis and the Agadir Crisis, the Treaty of Fez was signed, effectively dividing Morocco into a French and Spanish protectorate. In 1956, after 44 years of occupation Morocco regained indepedence from France as the Kingdom of Morocco.

Madagascar

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/madagascar/explore/maps.html

Madagascar, or Republic of Madagascar (older name Malagasy Republic, French: République malgache), is an island nation in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern coast of Africa. The main island, also called Madagascar, is the fourth-largest island in the world, and is home to 5% of the world’s plant and animal species, of which more than 80% are endemic to Madagascar. They include the lemur infraorder of primates, the carnivorous fossa, three bird families and six baobab species. Two-thirds of the population live below the international poverty line of US$1.25 a day.

Although the present head of State has self-proclaimed himself, Madagascar is usually a semi-presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the Prime Minister of Madagascar is head of government, and of a pluriform multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the Senate and the National Assembly. The Judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.  The political situation in Madagascar has been marked by struggle for control. After Madagascar gained independence from France in 1960, assassinations, military coups and disputed elections featured prominently.

Didier Ratsiraka took power in a military coup in 1975 and ruled until 2001, with a short break when he was ousted in the early 1990s. When Marc Ravalomanana and Ratsiraka both claimed victory after presidential elections in December 2001, Ratsiraka’s supporters tried to blockade the capital, Antananarivo, which was pro-Ravalomanana. After eight months of sporadic violence with considerable economic disruption, a recount in April 2002 led the High Constitutional Court to pronounce Ravalomanana president, but it was not until July that Ratsiraka fled to France and Ravalomanana gained control of the country.

Internal conflict in Madagascar had been minimal in the years that followed and since 2002, Ravalomanana and his party, Tiako-I-Madagasikara (TIM), have dominated political life. In an attempt to restrict the power and influence of the president, the prime minister and the 150-seat parliament have been given greater power in recent years.  Tension since was generally associated with elections. A presidential election took place in December 2006 with some protests over worsening standards of living, despite a government drive to eradicate poverty.  Calls by a retired army general in November 2006 for Ravalomanana to step down were said to have been ‘misinterpreted’ as a coup attempt.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madagascar

Gems Rush Destroys Madagascar’s Green Paradise  http://tinyurl.com/24gzz33

The Indian Ocean island of Madagascar has gained strategic value in recent years not only because of its geographical positioning in America’s “war on terror”, but also its vast untapped deposits of mineral wealth, some of the richest in the world. Apart from sapphires, there are rubies, garnets, amethysts, aquamarines and zircons. Precious stones provide more income than all other industries put together. There are also other minerals – titanium, aluminium and graphite – as well as offshore oil.

http://www.tsarabanjina.com/information/information.php?sel_lang

Yet Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world, with 72 per cent of the population living below the poverty line. Lack of clean water and sanitation remains one of the biggest problems, and the island has become a focal point for projects by the international charity, Water Aid.

What can we do?  What can you do?  First and foremost, we DO NOT support people who do not support in return and only care for themselves and what they believe is theirs!  Look at the face of the man above, then look at the face of the woman below.  If you feel sick, or anger, or sadness then that IS a normal response.  You are alive and with your life, make a difference!  Walk a mile in this man’s shoes…

EMERALD-The Fourth Stone

EMERALD-The Fourth Stone

Red Emerald-Bixbite

Beryl has been considered a valuable gemstone since prehistoric times. There are many colors of beryl known under many names. Green beryl is called emerald. In the 1800s green beryl was removed from the beryl family and called emerald. Blue beryl is aquamarine, colorless is goshenite, pink is morganite and yellow is heliodor ranging from a bright yellow to a honey-golden yellow.

Red beryl is extremely rare and mimics shades of red from bubble gum to to scarlet, or the color of blood. Mainly found within the Wah Wah Mountains of Utah, only an estimated 60 pounds were ever mined in the history of the world! Some smaller amounts have been found in other countries recently. Oddly enough it seems people are drawn to this stone yet do not understand why. The reason will be revealed later via an exerpt from The Stones Journal.

Blood?

The most common thread between this stone, its rarity, and the similar color of blood is in fact that the bible pounds a message to its readers that we should never forget that Jesus shed his blood for our sins. What better way to elevate the significance of that sacrifice than to mark it with the rarest gemstone in the world? These facts seem confusing but within The Revelation Painting there is a mystery of Revelation which has been overlooked since the bible was written and it will be revealed in The Stones Journal. Once revealed, the mystery is easily seen in the painting. The price for red beryl or Bixbite is astronomical! For one faceted carat, you can expect to pay $20,000.00 or more. Although I have obtained 6 carats of rough stone and the collection required for this section of the painting (an estimated 272 carats) will obviously have to be forfieted in lieu of a replacement stone of similar color or some other meaningful way to express the significance of this most important section.

I once spoke to a man who had worked in the mines in Utah and asked for the owner’s contact information. He was very put off when he found that I needed to crush it for the painting. He went on to say that the stone was highly coveted and that the owner would never sacrifice it for the painting. I will never know if I do not ask, so time will tell if the mine owner will sacrifice a handful of the stone.

(THIS SECTION WILL BE UPDATED as developments occur)

Sardonyx-The Fifth Stone

Sardonyx-The Fifth Stone

SARDONYX-The Fifth Gemstone

Sardonyx

SARDONYXvariety of onyx. Gr. sardōnux, presumably f. sārdios SARDIUS + ónux ONYX.
Onyx is cryptocrystalline Chalcedony Quartz. The name Onyx comes through Latin to Greek and means fingernail or claw due to the fleshy resemblance.

In ancient Greek times, nearly all colors from white to black were called Onyx.  It was during the Roman Empire when onyx began to refer to dark brown and black.  In the Roman times, Sardonyx was highly valued as it was used for official seals, as with Chalcedony, it did not stick to the wax used to seal documents. In modern times when we think of onyx, we think of a black stone although onyx comes in a myriad of colors:  Shades of brown, brown-red, reddish-orange, orange-yellow, white and banded which is the common if not black.  The brownish-red to orange, to white is Sardonyx (Sard meaning “shades of red”).  The use of sardonyx appears in the art of Minoan Crete, notably from the archaeological recoveries at Knossos.  Onyx was used in Egypt as early as the Second Dynasty to make bowls and other pottery items.  Sardonyx is abundantly found in the world, nearly every place where Quartz is mined.

Onyx is considered a powerful gemstone making the wearer intuitive, irresistible and a sly businessperson.  It is said to give the ability to deeply analyze situations, offer confidence, and increase overall happiness in life and love.

Sardius-The Sixth Stone

October 20, 2009

Sardius

The 6th Stone

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnelian

Carnelian (also spelled cornelian) is a reddish-brown mineral which is commonly used as a semi-precious gemstone. Similar to carnelian is sard, which is generally harder and darker. (The difference is not rigidly defined, and the two names are often used interchangeably.) Both carnelian and sard are varieties of the silica mineral chalcedony colored by impurities of iron oxide. The color can vary greatly, ranging from pale orange to an intense almost-black coloration….

A Stone of flesh color is a significant clue behind the meaning of the use of this stone in the 12 foundations of The New City.  Its placement as the sixth stone also bears significant meaning.  Wikipedia explains the meaning behind the name:

…The word carnelian is derived from the Latin word caro, carnis meaning flesh, in reference to the flesh color sometimes exhibited.   According to Pliny the Elder, sard derives its name from the city of Sardis in Lydia, but it more likely comes from the Persian word sered, meaning yellowish-red.

Carnelian is considered the stone of enlightenment.  Its orange color creates happiness, warmth and energy.  Believed to shield the wearer from anxieties and fears, creating reduced stress and is used in some cultures to bring a sense of peace and clear negative energies.

Ancient Egyptians fancied Carnelian jewels as noted by the tombs of Egypt being adorned with many carnelian pieces.  Egyptians believe the stone assisted in the afterlife in helping the soul pass into the next world protecting the traveler from evil.  Buddhists in China and India created amulets inlaid with Carnelian and other semi-precious stones, ascribing to them powers of protection and utilizing them for many rituals.

On a personal note it seems ill and ignorant that in knowing these facts that scientist and “gold-diggers” would disturb that process and it is very disrespectful to the dead.  Just because a belief is not your own does not make it untrue.  How long does a soul take to pass to the other side?  And once it does, how do we not know that the stones do not continue to protect it?

Recently I read an article where “scientist” want to dig up Leonardo Da Vinci and look for DNA specimens, the brain, whatever pieces of him that have not decomposed.  It is my feeling that Da Vinci contributed enough to this world we live in and that a man or woman should be able to “rest in peace”!

Carnelian mines are located in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Uruguay, Australia, Brazil, Madagascar, India, U.S, Russia and parts of Africa, Europe and the US.  The finest specimens of Carnelian are found in Arabia and India.

Chrysolite-Stone Seven-The Division Line

In anticipation of controversy about this stone and its modern color and shared meaning, I thought is was important to look up the origin of the name and discover the historical changes which have occurred.  Chrysolite means “golden stone”; Greek chrysos = golden or yellow plus lithos = stone in Greek.  For the purpose of The Revelation Painting, that color definition is correct and the reason it is correct will be revealed closer to the release of the painting.

  http://www.mineralatlas.com/australian_minerals/new_zealand.htm

Origin: Blackhead Quarry, Dunedin, Otago, South Island, New Zealand Sample size: about 2 mm crystal Sample owner: Vic Cloete

Mineralogists categorize Chrysolite and Peridot under the one species: Olivine.  Numerous colors are included within the clear to green ranges but the general consensus is the colors of Olivine vary from light straw yellow, gold-yellow, to yellowish-green, are known as Chrysolite ; and the deep yellow-green, is called Peridot.  The chrysolite is the “golden stone” of the ancients, and was at one time considered of very great value, even more than a diamond.

Chrysolite is the seventh stone, seven is known as God’s number, and as you will see it is a division line between two important messages hidden within the structure of The New City and the city’s true meaning.  Coming across some information I have yet to find again, I originally and mistakenly learned that Chrysolite was a Beryl which I have found recently to be untrue.  I believe the mistake was made when confusion occurred between Chrysolite and Chrysoberyl.

This magnificent specimen photo was borrowed from: http://silver-rockets.com/tag/meteorites/ of the Fukang (meteorite); The Fukang meteorite was found in the mountains near Fukang, China in 2000. Pallasites are a type of stony-iron meteorite with beautiful olivine crystals. CHRYSOLITE, is transparent variety of olivine.  The true chrysolite of the modern mineralogist is a magnesium silicate.  Certain kinds of topaz, from the Schneckenstein in Saxony, are known as Saxon chrysolite.  The transparent yellow chrysoberyl with a ” brilliant” cut can and has be mistaken for a yellow diamond.  This gem is also often mistaken for the chrysoberyl.   The name, earlier in time was used for yellow varieties of tourmaline and topaz.

Chrysolite is harder than glass, but not as hard as quartz. The finest specimens are noted to come from Egypt and from Brazil.  The stone is commonly found in certain volcanic rocks and as noted in the meteor photo above.  Other localities where the stone can be found include, but is not limited to:  Burma, Ceylon, Australia, China, Pakistan, Norway, and USA (Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, and New Mexico).  Very large crystals have been found in Myanmar and in the Minas Gerais in Brazil.

BRAZILhttp://www.bartleby.com/151/maps/br.html

Brazil covers nearly half of South America and is the continent’s largest nation. It extends 2,965 mi (4,772 km) north-south, 2,691 mi (4,331 km) east-west, and borders every nation on the continent except Chile and Ecuador. Brazil may be divided into the Brazilian Highlands, or plateau, in the south and the Amazon River Basin in the north. Over a third of Brazil is drained by the Amazon and its more than 200 tributaries.

And for the color lovers of the world, here is an excellent site about Brazil, the culture and historical Brazilian Carnival!  http://www.colourlovers.com/blog/2008/03/11/the-colors-of-carnival-brazilWikipedia’s:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_Carnival

The Carnival of Brazil, properly spelled “Carnaval” in Portuguese, is an annual festival in Brazil held forty days before Easter. On certain days of Lent, Roman Catholics and some other Christians traditionally abstained from the consumption of meat and poultry, hence the term “carnival,” from carnelevare, “to remove (literally, “raise”) meat.” Carnival celebrations are believed to have roots in the pagan festival of Saturnalia, which, adapted to Christianity, became a farewell to bad things in a season of religious discipline to practice repentance and prepare for Christ’s death and resurrection.

Rhythm, participation, and costumes vary from one region of Brazil to another. In the southeastern cities of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, organized parades led by samba schools are influenced in aesthetics by Venice Carnival. Those official parades are specific to be watched by the public, although minor parades (called blocos) allowing participation can be found in other cities. The northeastern cities of Salvador, Porto Seguro and Recife have organized groups parading through streets, and public interacts directly with them. This carnival is heavily influenced by African-Brazilian culture. Crowds follow the trio elétricos floats through the city streets. Also in northeast, Olinda carnival features unique characteristics, part influenced by Venice Carnival mixed with cultural depictions of local folklore.

Carnival is the most famous holiday in Brazil and has become an event of huge proportions. The country stops completely for almost a week and festivities are intense, day and night, mainly in coastal cities. The consumption of beer accounts for 80% of annual consumption and tourism receives 70% of annual visitors. The government distributes condoms and launches awareness campaigns at this time to prevent AIDS dissemination.

The Healing Power of Chrysolite:  Said to increase strength & physical vitality and protects against nervousness.  Said to protect wrist, lungs, and the upper respiratory system including the sinuses from infection, injury and illness.  It is also known to protect the adrenal glands and the liver.  For emotions, it helps to protect feelings of sadness caused from another, or insult and calms anger by decreasing negativity, as well as helps sleep.  Psychologically to reality, it is said that the stone, similar to Peridot has the ability to make dreams a reality and attract love to its wearer.  The green of the stone attracts wealth.

NORWAY

 http://www.lonelyplanet.com/maps/europe/norway/

Norway (pronounced /ˈnɔrweɪ/  Norwegian: Norge (Bokmål), Noreg (Nynorsk) or Norga (North Sami)), officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a Nordic country in Northern Europe occupying the western portion of the Scandinavian Peninsula, as well as Jan Mayen and the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard.  Norway has a total area of 385,252 square kilometres (148,747 sq mi) and a population of about 4.8 million.  The majority of the country shares a border to the east with Sweden; its northernmost region is bordered by Finland to the south and Russia to the east; and Denmark lies south of its southern tip across the Skagerrak Strait. The capital city of Norway is Oslo. Norway’s extensive coastline, facing the North Atlantic Ocean and the Barents Sea, is home to its famous fjords.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norway

For an extended period, the Norwegian art scene was dominated by artwork from Germany and Holland as well as by the influence of Copenhagen. It was in the 19th century that a truly Norwegian era began, first with portraits, later with even more impressive landscapes. Johan Christian Dahl (1788–1857), originally from the Dresden school, eventually returned to paint the landscapes of western Norway, defining Norwegian painting for the first time.

Norway’s new-found independence from Denmark encouraged painters to develop their Norwegian identity, especially with landscape painting by artists such as Kitty Kielland, a female painter who studied under Gude; Harriet Backer, 1845–1932, another pioneer among female artists, influenced by impressionism. Frits Thaulow, an impressionist, was influenced by the art scene in Paris as was Christian Krohg, a realist painter, famous for his paintings of prostitutes.

Of particular note is Edvard Munch, a symbolist/expressionist painter who became world famous for The Scream which is said to represent the anxiety of modern man.

Beryl-The Eighth Stone

Beryl-The Eighth Stone

Beryl is colorless and impurities are what cause various colors ranging through colorless to the deepest blue-green, nearly all translucent.  Each color has a distinct name:

http://www.neweragems.net/files/fancy_color_beryl_parcel_50cts.jpg

Emerald – Green to dark green
Aquamarine – Light to dark blue, blue-green
Morganite – Pink to light purple
Golden Beryl -Golden yellow
Heliodor – Yellow, yellow-green, brown
Goshenite – Colorless to white
Red Beryl – Deep red (only comes from one locality in Utah)
Peach Beryl – Orange-pink
Green Beryl – Pale green

Emerald is the blue-green/green variety, a popular and quite expense stone nearly always flawed with impurities.  Oil is applied to the stone to enhance color and form, but disguise flaws.  This process should always be disclosed to the buyer as time deteriorates the oil and the flaws re-emerge.  Aquamarine is known as the blue to blue-green variety.  The color is lighter and also distinct from Emerald.

Morganite is a pink variety named after J.P.Morgan, the banker who is an collector.  The stone is light pink yet can be enhanced with heat.  Color ranges within the Morganite variety include from the lightest pink to an orange-pink.  Morganite may also be called Pink or Champagne Beryl.

Goshenite is colorless and its physical properties are identical to Emerald.  It is not used much as a gemstone but sometimes a green foil is used to coat the stone lending the appearance of an Emerald.

Red Beryl or Bixbite is the rarest gemstone in the world (see the blog regarding Bixbite).  A rich pink to blood colored Beryl which is very rare,  Only 60 pounds of dark red were said to have been mined from Utah, USA.  There are other mines but produce very little output and more of a strawberry red colored stone.

Golden Beryl or Heliodorite, produces a golden yellow color.  Heliodor and Golden Beryl are often confused with one another, as I confused them, collecting Golden Beryl from all over the world for Chrysolite.  Some of the Beryl within the eighth foundation of the painting is Golden Beryl, Heliodor and the other yellow Beryl.

Borrowed from: http://www.peacefulmind.com/stones.htm

Properties: Beryl stones represent a group of minerals, which include aquamarine, emerald, golden or yellow beryl, heliodor and morganite, to name a few. Beryl assists its possessor in learning how to filter out distractions and unnecessary stimulation. Good for relieving stress, calming the mind. This stone works with the particular color in relation to each Chakra center. This stone is known to stimulate communication (blue), acceptance and healing (green), reawakens the love of married people (pink), supports spiritual growth (gold and white) and gives us strength and power (yellow).

Folk Remedies: Beryl has been used for centuries to help stomach, intestines, ulcers, nausea and eating disorders. It works with the mental body for exhaustion, depression and stimulates the mind, nervous system, spine and bones. Beneficial for elimination organs such as the kidneys, liver, and intestines. Helps strengthen the circulatory and pulmonary systems, making them more resistant to toxins and pollutants. Helpful to the eyes, throat and easing a stressed mental state. Beryl is often used as a sedative.

Feng Shui: Beryl stones are used in the Center area for harmony, balance and spiritual growth, in the North area for personal journey and in the Southwest area for relationships of any kind.

Suprisingly enough, before 1925 beryl was used only as a gemstone, but since then many important uses have been found for beryllium (e.g., in nuclear reactors, space vehicles, and X-ray tubes). No large deposits have been found, and most production is a by-product of the mining of feldspar and mica. Brazil is a major producer; others include Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, and the U.S.

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is named after Great Zimbabwe, the twelfth- to fifteenth-century stone-built capital of the Rozwi Shona dynasty. The name is thought to derive from dzimba dza mabwe (“great stone houses”) or dzimba waye (“esteemed houses”). Cultural and religious traditions among the Shona, Ndebele and smaller groups of Tonga, Shangaan and Venda have similarities in regard to marriage practices and the belief in supernatural ancestors. All those groups called on the support of the spirit world in the struggle for independence, which was achieved in 1980. European culture and values indelibly shaped the urban and rural landscapes, particularly in terms of the use of space, and the structure and practice of government. Black Zimbabweans have assimilated more white Zimbabwean culture than vice versa. In these distinct cultures, which generally are referred to as African and European, the most obvious differences are economic. While the white minority lost political power after Independence, it has retained a disproportionate share of economic resources.

The Second Congo War, also known as Africa’s World War and the Great War of Africa, began in August 1998 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly called Zaire), and officially ended in July 2003 when the Transitional Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo took power (though hostilities continue to this day). The largest war in modern African history, it directly involved eight African nations, as well as about 25 armed groups. By 2008 the war and its aftermath had killed 5.4 million people, mostly from disease and starvation, making the Second Congo War the deadliest conflict worldwide since World War II.   Millions more were displaced from their homes or sought asylum in neighboring countries.  Despite a formal end to the war in July 2003 and an agreement by the former belligerents to create a government of national unity, 1,000 people died daily in 2004 from easily preventable cases of malnutrition and disease.

Please don’t miss Peter Oborne’s magnificent piece on Zimbabwe in today’s Daily Mail.

PLEASE NOTE THIS BLOG CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

Peter has covered the tragedy of that country with necessary relentlessness and courage. His great fear is that the rest of us are forgetting Zimbabwe:

The world’s attention has shifted away.

Now, with the focus no longer on him, Mugabe is free to continue this unprecedented campaign of electoral cleansing.

For the past week, having slipped into Zimbabwe as a businessman, I have seen the relentless increase in intimidation from government forces.

I can report that every day it is reaching a new level of intensity, sweeping like a killer virus through the country.

Even by Mugabe’s standards, the scale and brutality is horrifying.

He is right. Our attention mustn’t wander until Mugabe and his thugs are gone.

The Star Spangled Banner Lyrics
By Francis Scott Key 1814

Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
‘Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

What America was v.s What America has Become

The development of the Culture of the United States of America has been marked by a tension between two strong sources of inspiration: European ideals, especially British; and domestic originality.

American culture encompasses traditions, ideals, customs, beliefs, values, arts, and innovations developed both domestically and imported via British colonization and immigration. Prevalent ideas and ideals which evolved domestically such as important national holidays, uniquely American sports, proud military tradition, and innovations in the arts and entertainment give a strong sense of national pride among the population as a whole.

It includes both conservative and liberal elements, military and scientific competitiveness, political structures, risk taking and free expression, materialist and moral elements.

It also includes elements which evolved from Native Americans, and other ethnic subcultures; most prominently the culture of African American slave descendants and different cultures from Latin America. Many cultural elements, especially popular culture have been exported across the globe through modern mass media where American culture is sometimes resented.

Remember that cover photo of Barack Obama on Rolling Stone, the magazine that, uh, endorsed his candidacy for president? And remember that cover photo of Michelle Obama on Vogue, the magazine that has endorsed the First Lady’s look?  The Obamas made a little money for their girls’ new school, the private Sidwell Friends School in Washington — where tuition runs $28,442 in the lower grades and $29,442 in the upper grades — with some autographs for a school benefit the other night.  http://tinyurl.com/22vrjuh

Richest man in the world, billionaire Warren Buffet

First place on the Forbes list: Stock exchange guru Warren Buffet (77). The American investor’s fortune has risen to 62 billion US dollars, making him the richest man in the world.

Somehow I just knew that searching Warren Buffet and Diamonds would show the truth of blood money and would bring me here:

A Message from Warren E. Buffett
Chairman, Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

What You Should Know About the Jewelry Business
You don’t need to understand the economics of a generating plant in order to intelligently buy electricity. If your neighbor is an expert on that subject and you are a neophyte, your electric rates will be identical.

But jewelry purchases are different. What you pay for an item vs. what your neighbor pays for a comparable item can be, and often is, widely different. Understanding the economics of the business will tell you why.

To begin with, all jewelers turn their inventory very slowly, and that ties up a lot of capital. A once-a-year turn is par for the course. The reason is simple: People buy jewelry infrequently, and when they do, they are making both a major and very individual purchase. Therefore, they want to view a wide selection of pieces before zeroing in on a single item.

Given that their turnover is low, a jeweler must obtain a relatively wide profit margin on sales in order to achieve even a mediocre return on their investment. In this respect, the jewelry business is just the opposite of the grocery business, in which rapid turnover of inventory allows good returns on investment though profit margins are low.

In order to establish a selling price for their merchandise, a jeweler must add to the price they pay for that merchandise, both their operating costs and desired profit margin. Operating costs seldom run less than 40% of sales and often exceed that level. This fact requires most jewelers to price their merchandise at double its cost to them or even more. The math is simple: Jewelers charge $1 for merchandise that has cost them 50 cents. Then, from their gross profit of 50 cents they typically pay 40 cents for operating costs, which leaves 10 cents of pre-tax earnings for every $1 of sales. Taking into account the massive investment in inventory, the 10-cent profit is adequate but far from exciting.

At Borsheim’s the equation is far different from what I have just described. Because of our single location and the huge volume we generate, our operating expense ratio is usually around 20% of sales. As a percentage of sales, our rent costs alone are fully five points below those of our typical competitor. Therefore, we can, and do, price our goods far below the prices charged by other jewelers. In fact, if they priced to match us, they would operate at very substantial losses. Moreover, in a virtuous circle, our low prices generate ever increasing sales, further driving down our expense ratio, which allows us to reduce prices still more.

How much difference does our cost advantage make? It varies by competitor but, by my calculation, what costs you $1,000 at Borsheim’s will, on average, cost you about $1,350 elsewhere. This is called the “Borsheim’s Price”. There are very few instances where we are unable to offer you those great savings due to restrictions, but you will always know upfront if an item is non-discountable.

Of course, price means nothing unless you are sure of the quality of what you are getting. When products are branded, such as watches and chinaware are, comparisons are simple. But jewelry is usually a “blind” item – and that puts virtually all purchasers at the mercy of the seller.

I can remember well how helpless I used to feel in a Fifth Avenue or Rodeo Drive jewelry store, where the only thing I knew for sure was that the operator had extraordinarily high overhead – and that they had to cover it in their sales price. I was also wary of the “upstairs” solo operator who operated on consignment merchandise, since that would have cost them more than merchandise bought outright, and would necessarily have inflated their retail price. And, finally, I always worried about the quality of what I was getting I couldn’t tell the difference between an emerald or a diamond worth $10,000 and one whose value was $100,000. (I still can’t.)

My sense of helplessness led me to an obvious conclusion: “If you don’t know jewelry, know your jeweler.” For that reason, I made all of my jewelry purchases at Borsheim’s for many years before Berkshire Hathaway bought the company. I didn’t know stones, but I did know Ike Friedman, the retailing genius who had built the business from nothing into one of the nation’s largest independent jewelry stores. When I purchased Ike’s business, I did it without an audit but with full confidence that I was getting value received. And that’s just what I got – precisely as I had when I purchased a single piece of jewelry from him.

The main point of this letter is to tell you that you don’t have to live near Omaha to benefit from Borsheim’s. Our “shop-at-home” program brings Borsheim’s to our qualified customers. Simply contact Borsheim’s to describe what you’re looking for – to any degree of detail. We will assemble selections that best reflect your wishes and send them to you. Then, in the comfort of your own home or office, you can conveniently and leisurely select the item(s) you most prefer, or return the entire selection.

Our results from this “shop-at-home” program have been amazing. Customers have loved it and keep coming back for more. Each year, we send out several thousand packages, ranging in value from $100 to $500,000. Call us at 800-642-GIFT (4438) to learn how to qualify for Borsheim’s “shop-at-home” program.

At Borsheim’s the service will be exemplary, the price will be exceptional and the merchandise will always be what you are told that it is. You have my word.

Warren E. Buffett
Chairman of the Board

Oddly enough his “word” does not mention the countless lives lost for profit-his profit.

As “rich” as the man is, is as poor as the poorest man on earth.  Neither take with them that which is in their hand, they take that which is in their hearts and what they leave behind in the hearts of others.  The rich man will leave this earth with less than the poor man for he has not learned of life, only money and greed.  The poor man will leave this earth rich in its truest form for he has learned the humbleness of life.

SAPPHIRE

Sapphire (Greek: σάπφειρος; sappheiros) is a gemstone variety of the mineral corundum, an aluminium oxide (α-Al2O3), when it is a color other than red, in which case the gem would instead be a ruby. Trace amounts of other elements such as iron, titanium, or chromium can give corundum blue, yellow, pink, purple, orange, or greenish color. Pink-orange corundum are also sapphires, but are instead called padparadscha.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sapphire

Rough Blue SapphireSapphires are mined from alluvial deposits or from primary underground workings. The mining locations include Myanmar, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Australia, Thailand, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Kenya and China. The Logan sapphire, the Star of India and the Star of Bombay originate from Sri Lankan mines. Madagascar leads the world in sapphire production (as of 2007) specifically in and around the city of Ilakaka.  Prior to Ilakaka, Australia was the largest producer of sapphires (as of 1987).  In 1991 a new sapphire occurrence was discovered in Andranondambo, southern Madagascar. That area was industrially exploited since 1993 and has been almost abandoned few years later because of difficulties of exploiting sapphires in their bedrock.  In the United States sapphires have been produced from deposits near Helena, Montana. Gem grade sapphires and rubies are also found in and around Franklin, North Carolina.

There will be a blog posted at:  www.therevelationpainting.com in the http://overview.therevelationpainting.com section which will disclose exactly how this stone fits into an historical mystery about The New City.  This mystery has been missed throughout time and will create world-wide recognition!  It IS without a doubt the most pertinent discovery in the history of religion.  The disclosure of that mystery will be later this year, most likely in July.  Other blogs leading up to this finale’ are regularly being posted.  Come visit me:  www.therevelationpainting.com

GOD Scene II (Part I)

Scene II GOD
(PART I)

According to the “dream” my mother had where she saw God, she stated that he was so bright that she knew if she had not been meant to be there that she knew she would have went blind.  She was unable to see the detail of his face because of the light but she knew he was a man.  This is where the brilliant, white light originated for Scene II of the painting.  Initially I contacted NASA for a light so bright that it would insult the eyes but not cause permanent damage.  I wanted the pupils to jerk in constriction.  NASA never responded.

Knowing early on that another form of brilliant, white light would have to be substituted, I was stumped.  Considering everything from flat panels to full spectrum lighting, I became frustrated and put that part of the painting on hold for quite a long time.  I thought that maybe I would have a chance with NASA engineers if there was more to show them.  I considered all the money America has contributed to NASA’s dreams and I believed (still naive) that they would make a light for The Revelation Painting.

Time passed, days were like months and months like years before I thought of it again until one morning I had awakened from a dream.  The dream was to run the bright, white light cables of fiber optics through the canvases.  That idea was also no easy task!  I began to research fiber optics and light sources.  There were no flat light sources but the cables were flexible enough to use in each canvas, bundled together and coiled into the back of the canvas.  The total length of various size cables would reach around 20-30 feet, maybe more.

Since I had read in Revelation what is described as God’s image, I was thrown back in believing the “white light” theory as Revelation did not focus on the brilliance of the white light, in fact it really did not talk about it at all:

REV 4:2 At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. 3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne…

In my dream, God was white light and a lot of it.  I had not seen God in the dream, only the answer to my lighting problem.  My mother had told me he was bright, white light and after all Scene II of the painting was entangled within this white light of God.  I began to research more.  (The blog regarding The Stones of the New City foundations shed immense light on the “appearance of jasper and carnelian and the Emerald.  This information was not discovered until 2009.)  Diligent searching for what God looked like brought me to:

Ezekiel 1:1-14 (New International Version)

Ezekiel 1

The Living Creatures and the Glory of the Lord

1 In the [a] thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.

4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, 5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was that of a man, 6 but each of them had four faces and four wings. 7 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had the hands of a man. All four of them had faces and wings, 9 and their wings touched one another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved.

10 Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a man, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. 11 Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out upward; each had two wings, one touching the wing of another creature on either side, and two wings covering its body. 12 Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. 13 The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it. 14 The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning…

I began to measure and sketch exactly what it would take and the size of it to magnify the importance of this scene.

Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!

I locked the Hemorrhage page at www.therevelationpainting.com requiring a password to see it. The reason is that religion is a touchy subject and I may sound harsh to some people and/or groups as I make my case regarding what Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs! is all about.

The second reason is that recently, a friend of mine was contacted by a government entity which cited them for “talking about the government”. I do not want to blacklist myself before I even get started. I know that this painting will grow tremendous controversy. It already is.

I will only write blogs about the mechanism of the bleed, the design and measurements, and the sketches regarding this section of the painting and forget about the “politics” behind it. In other words, discussing the art of it will be the priority until later on when the password protection is removed.

To remind you about the Hemorrhage section of the painting  Scene II GOD; it is where the brilliant, white light of God begins to bleed from the application of thermochromic pigments that when heated to approximately 88 degrees will turn from a red (slightly pink due to the saturation of pigment) to a clear.

The painting will require heated light sources to keep the red pigment at bay, then when the lights are out, the painting begins to bleed Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!  When the lights are turned back on, the painting will return to the pristine, brilliant, white light of God once again.

Here is a general design of the effect, of course you will not see a change here, it is an illustration. I am working on learning to video certain things to make short youtube videos to place here on myspace and at www.therevelationpainting.com in anticipation of my June videos actually painting the painting.

The following are views of the Hemorrhage effect.  The first is when the pigment is cold (under 88 degrees) but the colder, the better but not freezing.  It arrives in various forms; a powder, a slurry, a paint or ink.  This medium was a slurry.  The area TEST is where I wanted to see the black thermochromic related to being covered by the red and their reactions.

The following pictures is the pigment heated with a blow dryer (for faster) response and true color.  It is important to apply one thin coat because the red is very hard to work with due to the remaining pigment when cooled.  In the painting (if you read the “EMERALD” blog, and God’s EMERALD rainbow, you will see the pink does not matter.

Actual changing times required are available by clicking on the photos here..

This is a very important component of the painting.  Please see the GIVE/TAKE page to see how you can help keep this section of the painting alive!  The life span of the pigment on the painting is approximately 6 months where it will then require a “tune up”.  I realize that one day the effect will happen no more and hopefully “things” which brought it to this point are resolved in the world and it will not matter by then.

Please see the GIVE/TAKE page at www.therevelationpainting.com

a “tune up”.  I am well aware that this effect will diminish over time and will one day not be a part of the painting.  Hopefully by that day, the things which triggered this section will exist no longer and the world will have changed for the better. require 6 months, when the painting will approximately is thermochromics for ways you can keep this very important section of the painting alive.  The life of

The Four Living Creatures
(Working Images)

And before the throne [there was] a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, [were] four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast [was] like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a human, and the fourth beast [was] like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (Rev. 4:6-8)

This is an important part of The Revelation Painting for me.  I believe I have been drawing eyes my entire life for this!  Although I remember trying desperately to draw these creatures when very young, I could not master it.  Giving up on it for many years, again, here I will try to recreate what I have seen related to Revelation 4:6.

My main problem here are the bodies of the creatures because the bodies are not mentioned.  In order to paint the portions mentioned; the faces-A lion, calf, human and eagle I will paint those images but make the fiber optics of GOD and the brilliant white light shine into their chest where the bodies nor the feet will show.

Using real white feathers in this part, I will apply them with glue and varnish, making them smooth, highlight them using gouache and thinned paint, then paint the eyes on them.  I would prefer the eyeballs protrude in all directions, which will need countless hours of work.  Below is an example of the feathers sealed which have the basic eye color applied:

As you can see at the bottom tips of the feathers, detail work will be required to make the feathers match and not appear as though the creature has been “ruffled”.  It is imperative to pour lacquer into and on the scene when it is complete to decrease opportunistic decay from underlying air bubbles over time.

The face of the eagle is a rough sketch.  Research is required to make it appear realistic.  I sketched the head in all different directions and felt that the eagle, since he is the end creature would look best if he were looking out at the audience.  His eyes will be larger and yellow/gold.

The texture of the feathers are seen here.  One thing I learned in painting the sky in the earlier blog was that the texture is forgiving.  If it is highlighted as above but not appealing, you can highlight it in a different color or tone to pick up more detail as long as the paint is thin.  The thicker, the more it takes away the depth.

Eyes will be basic painted color, then detailed with colored pencils and spots of light added.  I thought about other types of eyes, from animals, birds, and fish but will stick with humanistic eyes with various sized pupils.  I once read that artwork is more appealing if the pupils are larger but will not follow that rule today, at least not for the eagle because his pupils are relatively small.

Please watch for progression blogs to follow.

The Locust Scene IV

September 28, 2009

The Locust-Scene IV  Artist Personal Reflections
In the beginning when I started studying The Locust for Scene IV it became readily apparent that it would be no easy task.  The Locust were described with “face of a man, hair of a woman, teeth of a lion, iron breastplates, golden crowns, feet like a horse and tails like scorpions.”  Beyond the face of a man and hair of a woman, I had a lot to research and will write about all of that later.

The thing I would like to discuss now was the answer to a dilemma that had me baffled for a long time and today after visiting the “bug show” at the local Botanical Gardens, I found the answer!  Upon painting the first Locust and researching iron breastplates, since the scene was ancient, it was only appropriate that the iron breastplate had a patina of age about it.  Usually iron is rust and brass a blue-green patina.

After making the iron breastplate and starting the rust (red-orange-brown) patina, it was much too dark for such a dark scene as the creatures were ascending from a bottomless pit or Abyss (that was also another reason the eyes of several locusts were light colors, in order to add color to an otherwise dark scene.)  My direction changed to the blue-green for patina in effort to brighten the creatures against the grey/black.

(working images)

As seen above, the breastplate is too blue but looks good with the black highlights of the muscular design of the breastplate.  Although I thought to change it several times, something forced me to keep it this color.  What I learned today was shocking and immediately I understood the true meaning behind the color I thought I had chosen.

This is one of those “weird” things that have to do with the making of this painting.   What I learned today was information regarding the Emperor Scorpion; a solid black scorpion with a secret.  I was busy looking at the design and structure of the tail which is what I needed to see for the painting.  The rest of the scorpion did not matter to me because I was not using any part of it other than the tail.  The curator was talking about the scorpion’s nocturnal life and how the night vision worked to see prey.

Emperor Scorpion (Natural Light)

I had not really heard much of it as I was trapped deeply within the tail and its structure.  I did not see the black light flashlight the curator held above the scorpion until the curator turned it on.  The scorpion began to glow a magnificent blue-green!  It was a remarkable and powerful sight.  I knew my expression was priceless when immediately I realized the purpose of the blue-green color and its significance in the painting.

Emperor Scorpion (Black Light)

Not only was the blue-green the correct colors of the scorpion but also fit within the scorpion’s mission coming up and out of the bottomless pit in darkness, so the illumination of each other and to have vision in the darkness of the pit.  It is odd how the components of this painting come together.  I have learned to wait and see with the things I am not satisfied with because sooner or later the “real” meaning reveals itself.

Take a minute to read the blog on the white horse’s original translation.  It was filly; a white filly.  Find out the difference between a plain white horse and a white filly.  What I found out about the white filly was also surprising.  See the other blogs at:  http://overview.therevelationpainting.com

Acrylics are my paint of choice.  I paint fast and the number one reason is drying time.  Often times I blow dry my work as I paint.  Oils are magnificent but offer a burden for me in control.  The oil is slick and difficult to control especially for detailed work.  I painted one oil painting in my life and what should have taken a couple of hours, took over 3 weeks to dry!  The modern acrylics of today in my opinion, offer the richness and brilliance in color like oils.

Pigments are mixed with various clear lacquer and other mediums.  For The Revelation Painting some pigments include minerals, tree barks, fruits, flowers, or plant parts.  Minerals are also used to create vibrant, color fast scenes.  All paint applied is UV protected and the painting upon completion will be sealed with a UV protecting clear coat which is the substance used to seal cars!  This will create gloss and durability in effort to create a magnificent work of fine art which will withstand the test of time.

All of these are important aspects of creating art.  UV protecting prevents yellowing over time.  Archival canvas with limited acids were specifically chosen for this work.  I do not use gesso as a primer and have been known as a paint waster.  I prefer to build the color through layering for a solid pigment, and a rich finish.  Some of the painting will have an instant coffee “wash” applied for antiquing techniques.
As stated in previous blogs and information about this painting, there are never seen techniques used in the creation of the work.

Golden Heavy Body Artist Acrylics 4 oz

My favorite all time paint is Golden Fluid Acrylics.  They are the thinner version of Golden Heavy Body paints, which are my second favorite paint.  I paint with much control and attention to detail.   Abstract work is difficult for me as I have not learned how to “let go” of tight lines.  Although I may think outside of the box, I have not yet learned how to paint outside of the box.  Much effort and consciousness is utilized to bring fluidity and flowing lines to my work.  Although it is a difficult task, I strive to “open” my paintings which finding the balance between detailed control and the freedom of expression.
.
The total estimated cost of the paints used in this painting is well over $35,000.00.  Please note that the paint comes in 1 ounce, 2 ounce, and 1/2 ounce vials.  Imagine 12X40 feet and an ounce of paint!  The average price of any one of these paints run from $4.50-$15.00 or more depending on the series and/or color.  Actual 24K gold flakes are used in some scenes which also adds a hefty price tag to the piece.  Texturizing is very important and where layers and layers of real paint are used in lieu of texturizers and molding, the actual cost of paint becomes astounding!

For example, the highly textured Devil in this painting was created by large “dabs” of paint, left to almost dry, then gently and specifically pressed causing a realistic reptilian skin.  Wax paper is used to prevent pulling of the nearly dry paint leaving holes.  The Devil required nearly $2500.00 worth of the most expensive red and orange hues. (Reds are usually higher priced).  The “dabs” pressed measure vertically 2-4.0 mm which is thick for paint on canvas.  Underlying browns were used for contrast and depth perspective, as well as swirled into the reds and oranges in effort to created texture within texture.

Scene 2-God required various layers of the most luminescent white paint and mica to provide a glow unseen anywhere else in the painting.  Great care was taken and careful consideration regarding the second scene within the scene of God;  Truth-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!, where the bright white was repainted with thermochromic paint to create the red hemorrhage.  The high risk of yellowing overtime and temperature change will require specific retouching over time and the directions specific to the retouching techniques will be written on the back of those canvases.

In addition to the mentioned acrylic paints and custom pigments, I will also be using Liquitex products which are also higher quality acrylic paints.  Those of you who know paints, know the quality of these paints and for those of you who do not know paints, here is some information borrowed from the Golden website:

GOLDEN Fluid Acrylic Color Lines Fluid Colors
Fluid paints contain near the same pigment strength as Golden Heavy Body colors in a pourable, low viscosity formula.
Fluid Iridescent / Fluid Interference
Familiar for their radiance, GOLDEN Iridescent Colors produce a luster by themselves, with other colors, or mixed with mediums.
GOLDEN Interference Colors offer a unique “flip” when viewed from different perspectives.
Historical Fluid Acrylic Hues
GOLDEN technology uses contemporary pigments to create hue combinations of these traditional colors; combining the integrity of the past with today’s requirements for quality, lightfastness and safety.
Matte Fluids
Provides a uniform flat finish in a wide variety of concentrated colors.Fluid Acrylic Colors

Fluid Acrylics are highly intense, permanent acrylic colors with a consistency similar to heavy cream. Produced from lightfast pigments, not dyes, they offer very strong colors with very thin consistencies. No fillers or extenders are added and the pigment load is comparable to GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics.

Unlike mixtures of heavy-bodied paints and water which produce weak color and films by dilution, Fluid Acrylics contain high pigment levels suspended in an acrylic polymer vehicle. The result offers fine dispersion, high tinting strength, durability, flexibility and good adhesion. Fluid Acrylics are ideal for spraying, brushing, staining, and can be mixed with other GOLDEN Products. Blend with Airbrush Medium for spray application. Excellent for fabric application.

CUSTOM MADE WOODEN CANVASES

In creating The Revelation Painting, it was apparent that the weight of the stones and the need for sturdy canvases to hold the fiber optics were going to require wooden canvases.  In the case of the fiber optics requiring small holes drilled from 1-6MM, a cloth canvas would not suffice.  It was estimated that six canvases would be needed to house the fiber optic cables and four to hold the weight of the stones.

Fiber optic cables are delicate and will not tolerate numerous placement and removal as the painting moves from location to location.  The idea to drill holes and securely fasten the delicate cables is what brought me to the design of custom-made wooden canvases with drilled holes to accommodate various sizes of cables fixed securely into place with clear adhesive.

Various sizes and adapters are available to create the light effects from a light source.  Obvious decreased movements and coiling of the frail cables would increase the life of them before replacement was required.  Designing custom canvases 48” x 48” from wood that fit flush with the cloth canvases was no easy task.  Measurements from the side were calculated at 1 ½” combined.

I consider myself an artist and not a carpenter.  It was very difficult for me to try to measure and calculate the needed design as doors were going to have to be on the backs of six canvases to carry the cables securely during transport.  I sketched a rough design and ran an ad for a carpenter, aka woodworker with tools to build the canvases.

I need someone to build 10 canvases, high quality 48″x48″x 1 1/2″, some with doors on the back. These canvases will be painted on; fine art and have to be sanded and smooth. Some will have small holes drilled in them. I do not have tools, so you need your own tools. I will buy the supplies at your direction regarding the type of quality, lightweight, non-warping wood required. I have a cloth example (without doors on the back) to go by for design purposes. I will need a quote from you regarding what you will charge for all 10 canvases. I hope that you can deliver them when done or I will rent a truck to pick them up. You will be required to sign a waiver if injury occurs in the creation or delivery of these canvases that I will not be held responsible.

I was amazed at the response!  After a week or so of careful consideration, I chose a man who may or may not be listed in The Journal of Acknowledgement for his significant contribution toward the creation of the painting based on his decision.  (Please see:  www.therevelationpaintingjournals.wordpress.com regarding this powerful journal.)

The most difficult part of designing the canvases are the side frames which can only be 1 ½ inch combined; the ¼” Birch plywood, the frame, and the width of the latch.  The main problem is finding the correct cut with the application of the latches where the canvas is not forced to sit out from the wall at a wider distance than the cloth canvases.  Solid construction is important here due to weigh.

The remaining four canvases are located at the end of the painting where the twelve foundations of crushed gemstones are found.  It will be interesting to calculate the exact weight of the stones.  (I will deduct the weight of the finished wood canvas, the adhesives and lacquers from the total weight after the stones are applied.)  Just carrying the crushed stones reveals pounds of weight!

I considered and am still considering tracks of LED lights to illuminate the crushed stones through small holes.  The stones, their magnificence of sparkle and light-play is best observed through illumination.  Time will tell regarding this decision.  Many other components were required as well for the completion of fully functional canvases to withstand the test of time.

The main component of the canvases is of course the wood it is made from.  Several carpenters recommended Birch.  I did not know much about Birch, only that I needed a wood that would not warp, could handle the weight and liquid applied to its surface.  I researched Birch and found interesting facts.  I felt this would be a good choice of wood from which to build the canvases.

Birch is a tight and solid wood species that grows in North America and is from the Betula Family, closely related to Beech and Oak. The two most common types of Birch are Paper and Yellow in North America but there are over 50 species found throughout the world.  Birch trees grow an average height of 70 feet with a diameter of 2”.  The bark rolls and peels spontaneously but gets thicker with age.

Birch lumber is used for many, many products from skateboards, to canoes, artist easels, paper and cabinets.  It is chosen for its fine and uniform texture.  It is nearly odorless and is also chosen for long burning fireplace wood.  Once it is dried it resist decay and fungus.  It is fairly priced and the type of Birch chosen for The Revelation Painting was Birch plywood, quarter inch.  Birch plywood is created from lamination of Birch veneer and is light but strong.  It is fine grained and pale.

Other parts associated with the custom wood canvases:

CONTINUOUS HINGE POLISHED BRASS FINISH

HIGH QUALITY .04  GAUGE STEEL, 36″  BY  1.5”

SLOTTED ADJUSTMENT HOLES EVERY 9TH HOLE

1-1/2″ Metal Re-enforcing Corner Angle Plate
1-1/2 x 3/8 inch 4 hole zinc plated plates.

Brass Plate Flat Strap Hanger
Total length 1-7/8 inch Width by 1/2 inch

Nickel Flush Drawbolts  –   Approx. 1-1/2″ x 3″

Oddly enough, I consider this painting bringing Revelation to life and I found this interesting fact regarding Birch (from Wikipedia):

Birch trees are associated with the Tír na nÓg, the land of the dead and the Sidhe, in Gaelic folklore, and as such frequently appear in Scottish, Irish, and English folksongs and ballads in association with death, or fairies, or returning from the grave.

Learning religion through repeated Revelations…

The definition of religion:

1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

THINK ABOUT THIS:  A MORAL CODE GOVERNING THE CONDUCT OF HUMAN AFFAIRS…

THE REVELATION PAINTING truly started out as a painting of Revelation-seven scenes but now it has become a crusade of truth.  I have been working on this painting for 11 years and always knew I had a fail-safe in the churches and others with income that has been generated and continues to be generated by you and me and our families and friends.  After all, we supported their “glory” in their “crusade of Christ” for centuries and continue to do so, surely, they would reciprocate and support our dreams, and aspirations…right?  Wrong!  My emails must be considered spam…spam is essentially considered garbage, therefore my dreams are garbage and I am worthless yet my money buys their mansions and Ferraris, Rolls, fancy $40,000.00 gowns, their yachts, their summer house, their winter house, their fall and summer houses and the houses in between, their trips all over the world, their jets, their drugs, their private parties, excessive weddings, and divorces, essentially their very excessive lives!  If it all sounds ludicrous, that is because it is!  I am not saying all churches take advantage of faithful souls but some do!

I waited until the last year before the completion of the painting to request sponsorship from one or some of the 50 MEGACHURCHES in America.  Naïve, I believed the churches I saw on TV, the ones with the biggest flat screens they make all over their “arenas” of a church, the ones which sit bright white on hills in every city packed full of believing, generous souls.  These are the churches on TV with over 10,000 members in a church so horribly big that it is an arena!  I wrote them less than 2 months ago and they deleted my email without even reading it and it said:  “God’s Work” in the subject line!  It’s not that I wrote one church or ten churches, I wrote fifty churches!

So from there, I went to “charitable organizations” like Habitat for Humanity where I offered 10% of my Ebay sales toward their charity.  I figured an eye for an eye.  They could advertise me and I would give them 10% of the proceeds.  They deleted my email without reading it and the subject line said:  “Big Donations”.  I went to the fortune 100 companies in the U.S., the richest people in America-Trump, Oprah, actors, musicians, and I am not finished.  The only company who wrote back was Exxon!  They have a sponsorship I can apply for.  However, I had told them about my plan (see below-the Hemorrhage) beforehand…I was mad as hell and very impulsive that day.

Then in my search I found information about the New World Order, and that we as Americans have been absolutely fooled and shafted!  I got mad as hell again.  It almost closed me down-emotionally, mentally; artistically….I learned about the World Trade Center and the 911 workers who are dying and our government is not helping them at all!  I saw the stuff about J. F. Kennedy, the conspiracies and how he had signed Executive Order 11110 right before he was assassinated which put the money back in our hands instead of the U.S Treasury…after he died it went right back to the U.S Treasury (which by the way is private bankers…did you know that?)  I knew it was all-real.  How in the hell had I walked around blind with 20/20 vision my entire life?

The painting changed from “just” a painting of Revelation to now using thermochromic paints, which change with temperature to reveal the white and pristine fiber optic God to bleeding on the canvas right before your eyes revealing TRUTH-The Hemorrhage of Pigs!  I wonder what those 10,000 plus followers will think about their “con-man” preachers, priest and rabbi’s after this painting is released?  When the names of their church and how much it’s worth because of the little plate that’s been passed around for hundreds and hundreds of years.   What they did and continue to do is now splattered in blood across the image of God!  It is quite a visual effect SHOCKING to say the least.  How many records will be sold and TV shows watched without the person thinking about it now?  These people got where they are from us, our parents, our friends, our families, our friends families…

~Changes to the painting~

The rider of the black horse is now Martin Luther King as he was the true martyr for equality and the King of Kings, Lord of Lords horse rider is J. F. Kennedy (he is the one who chains the devil for 1000 years-the beast.  If you read about the New World Order, you will know exactly whom the beast is).  There are so many other changes within this painting; it is rich with politics, dishonesty and corruption.  I can write backwards and upside down, so there will be messages hidden within the painting and now there is an unseen battle within the painting of good vs. evil, which is also new.  Once you see it within the painting, you can follow it.  This painting is going to make history, it is going to make many people very angry, and it is going to change many of the things we believed or at least make some people think.

During the 10 years of buying and crushing pounds and pounds-not just carats, of precious and semi precious gemstones (rubies, sapphires, amethyst, etc…),  I have found the answer to 3 of the mysteries of Revelation so far (it is all about 7’s and mysteries).  I was shocked when I found them.  One of them I may not show-it will cause a worldwide uproar.  It is regarding the pale horse who’s rider’s name is Death.  My anger is peaked and I know I am not the only one with dreams waiting for support from the people I have supported my entire life and this painting will be completed by my determination and financial backing if I continue to be ignored or not.  In the end, will it matter?  For me yes, without a doubt.  I am not religious, but I am learning about the moral code, which governs the conduct of human affairs in America.  Are we the harlot of the world?
